Also, just to add on to our “hypothetical Superman mini-series” discussion, I always hear people saying they wouldn’t trust the Berlanti-verse team with a Superman title, but if you got Berlanti himself to co-write with the comics guys like Sterling Gates and Geoff Johns - or if they’re willing to go outside their dojo, Peter Tomasi - and got Larry Teng to direct, I have no doubt they could produce a strong, crowd-pleasing Superman mini-series.

Superman has been fairly well written so far in Supergirl. Certainly better than he was in the recent movies, that's for sure.

He's appeared what? 3 times? For all of 20mins of screen time. I can find 20 good mins of Cavills Supes.

I will start by saying that I haven't seen Justice League yet but I still feel that Hoechlin's Superman is far more likable and heroic than his DCEU counterpart. Hoechlin's Superman seems to love his life as Superman whereas Cavill's Superman in first two appearance doesn't aspire hope, in fact his personality is closer to Batman and he seems to see his powers as a burden than as a gift.

We are finally to the Batwoman portion of the crossover I guess. The costume looks bad in this lighting....and should we make a general crossover post instead of being all up in Supergirls general post?

There is no Flash on Earth-38. During that episode where Barry turned up with Kara, Kara had never heard of 'The Flash'. Furthermore, in the scenes we've seen with 90's Flash, we've also got Ollie in Red and Barry in Green (for whatever reason), and from what I've read (somewhere - I can't remember now) the 90's Flash is actually Barry Allen (in name) and not Earth-3's Jay Garrick (as I initially suspected).

In any case, the 90's Flash in the crossover could be from any number of Earth's. I don't suspect he'll be from Earth's 1, 2, 3 or 38.

The Earth number for 1990 Flash should be....Earth-90!!

We already saw Superman and Batman together in the big screen, now we get Supergirl and Batwoman for the small screen.

Batwoman being taller than Supergirl is not an issue as Batwoman is 5'10".

I want to see Tyler's Superman sit on the clouds in All-Star Superman style!!

There's too much of a pink shade to it, I think. Being a professional costume dept, they should be able to do a convincing, 'natural' red. But, looking at it over and over, I'm good with it. Not Supergirl great, but also not Flash level of bad. And seeing the shiny upper portion, I wish the entire suit was that way.

I wonder what the boots on the bat costume look like. Ruby Rose isn’t taller than Melissa. Ruby is listed as 5’7” and Melissa at 5’8”. The wardrobe department has done a good job of giving sensible crime fighting footwear to all the heroes so I hope that Batwoman’s boots aren’t super high.

Honestly, if my theory is true about the recent set of pictures that we've gotten (involving the black suit Superman holding a book and the other major heroes, sans Batwoman) taking place during the grand finale of the entire 3 part crossover, then I am not expecting Batwoman to still have AS big of a role that I once pictured.

Of course, my theory would be shot down if we end up getting more pictures involving other major action sequences involving Batwoman and the rest of the other heroes.

just saw it on my own twitter feed it's nice to finally see her. not sure about the wig, it could look better. Not so sure why it's so hard to hire any of those award winning female cos players with the wardrob's.

There's already been one line-up pick, all sans BW. Sad to say but unless they give us another with all of them, then I think she is in only one part of the crossover. Which won't be too bad if it's a damn good part, rather than mediocre in all three.

I already mention the part about hiring to pro Cosplayers that got to the SDCC & NyCC event's that make their costume look good and they make them on the Cheap too. it's weird they can pull it off and we see this with the show and people say it's about the production costs' and yet again the Cosplayer made their's look goo on the cheap. it's a weird point. hire them .

the mask's fine it's the wig. the CW & Dctv as whole at times has the worst wig's.

Apart from being an unnatural shade of red (magenta?) - which, apparently, is comic book accurate - the hair looks decent enough.

I mean… Do we know if Kate Kane will have short hair (i.e., Rose’s real-life style)? If that’s the case, then it’ll be obvious that Batwoman’s long locks are artifice - part of her disguise/costume. At which point, recognizing a wig for what it’s acknowledged to be (in-universe) may not be such a big deal.

I have no problem with the character wearing a wig; wigs have been worn by (both) Canary's over the Arrow years. I just don't think the current mask/wig is a good combination.

As it stands, this is just for the crossover, so hopefully when the show launches itself, we'll get a slightly altered look (feedback may assist them); or if the show is remotely successful and Ruby can act the part, they'll update the mask/hair/costume for Season 2 like they do with Arrow and Flash.

Ironically, Supergirl is the only hero that hasn't had a costume update.

in bo0th the comic's & animated kate has always had short red hair out side of her bat woman costume . and the hair she has now is the same one Rose is rocking style wise minus the color. As to the wig it might have been better as fire red then the natural colour as you said it. that what's driving most nuts about it. the rest of the costume fine.


Also in the comics it's best when it fire red. depends on the colorist and what comic your reading i guess

her wearing a wig isn't a problem . it's just the type of wig's they(the CW & DCTv thems selves get , it seem to be some weird mess that get most fan's wonder where their are getting the ugly things from .

I'm sure we've seen wig's in other place's and they don't bother us, but with these Cw dctv super hero shows one we end going what's up with that dang wing. other place not so much.
