if you read the comics and dont just pay attention to the cartoons and popular opinion you'd realize just how powerfull Superman is and if you paid attention to the specific feats Goku has performed and compared them you'd realize that Goku while seemingly more impressive is actually a lot less powerful than Superman. Unless Goku had Kryptonite or used magic instead of ki energy somehow he just wouldnt stand much of a chance. It's a shame really cause I like Goku much better.
