This movie just needs one more thing, just one...Kurt Russell!!

I pray that Stallone puts him in this movie. That would rock!

Stallone
Statham
Li
Rourke
Couture
Lundgren
Whitiker (rumored?)
Kingsley (rumored?)
Bullock (rumored?)

What a great cast!!

The guys we are talking about here make movies where the action is practically all that matters, Rourke and Whitaker are the only 2 in this that are actually proper actors, with Sly having his moments.

Watch a movie called London, it sucks, but Statham gives a very earnest heartfelt performance as a character who's impotence has led him to drug use.

Bullock is out i think.

Really? That bites. But oh well, the selling point of this movie is all the male action stars together in one movie. Bullock would have been a nice addition though...

Rourke signed on to this and Iron Man 2 in the same day. Rourke just went from nothing to superstar and rightfully so.

Wow Rourke really is making a big comeback

He should really be thankful to Sin City and make the sequel. Not ***** about spending 5 hours in make-up.

I would say Sin City was when he took the first steps to his comeback, he was amazing in it. But The Wrestler clearly rejuvinated his career

But depending on who is directing the film, I might not want to come back if I were him, and the make-up does have to be a pain.

haha. like sin city is what got him here hehehehehhe

Uh, yeah, it is. Or do you want to say Once upon a time in Mexico brought him out in the public eye again.

He should do Sin City again. Marv does have a small part in A Dame to Kill For. He should respect RR by not complaining.

This film looks like it is gonna be sick. Old school action heroes and new school action heroes? Can't go wrong in my book.

They definitely need to get Willis and Russell on board though, then it will be complete!

Sure, he's done parts in other movies , but it was undoubtedly Sin City that sparked Rourke's career resurgence.

Could it be the most fun movie of 2009..?

^I reckon so. This and Inglorious Bastards are gonna be the ultimate bloke flicks this year.

And I'm glad Rourke is back, now bring back Kurt Russell!!

Ohhh Inglourious Basterds--that should be fun too. That and this one, I'll be there opening day :woot:

Sin City helped, but the reason he's getting these big time roles now is because of all of the praise he's getting for The Wrestler.

Do you guys reckon Sly would have tried to get Arnie in this if he wasn't in office?

Man... I keep clicking on this thread hoping that I read "BREAKING NEWS... Schwarzenegger JOINS THE EXPENDABLES!!!" Maybe in another life.
