I creamed my pants when I saw the new trailer, but what do arnie mean when he says something about bruce playing in the jungle?

It was a dig at Stallone and Rambo

Why isn't there a fight scene with Sly, Willis and Arnold? You got those three in a same scene and all they do is talk? That's just wasted opportunity.

Anyone think that Snipes would have been in this film had he not been in jail when this film was shooting?

They could have broken him out of jail LOL

Make up a story saying he was the most badass member of the expendables team.

Don't expect Seagal and JCVD sadly. Seagal and one of the producers have a bad history together and JCVD and Stallone had a falling out over this film.
.

[on rejecting Sylvester Stallone's offer of a part in The Expendables (2010)] Stallone gave me a part in his next movie, but I ask him about the subject, about the story. He said, 'You're gonna make lots of money.' I don't want to hear that, I want to hear what was my character. He was unable to tell what it's going to be. [Stallone said:] 'You know, uh, well, the fighting will be good.' [So I said:] 'Sly, what is my character?' So I didn't do the movie.

The sequel needs to have the Bruce be more involved.

Plus Sly needs to definitely cast JCVD, Russell, Snipes, The Rock, and maybe even Mel Gibson in the sequel!

Screw Seagal! haha

If you watch it again, he is clearly talking with Stallone (I guess a Rambo reference). I got a little confused at first as well.

guys, so which movie will come up on top? Expendables, Losers, or A-Team?

I don't know if it's more story than ego with JCVD.

I have a feeling that Jean Claude turned it down because of this: while his movie 'JCVD' was a satire, maybe he thought that 'Expendables' was more a 'parody' and therefore was more insulting.

Well lets see.....

The A-Team has Bradley cooper, liam nesson and the guy from District 9 and some other people.

The Losers has Zoe Saldana and Chris Evans and some guys i´ve never heard of.

The Expendables has Jet li, Stallone, Willis, Arnold, Stone Cold, Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke packed in a box of awesomeness with a side of badass.

So..........yeah.

I'm more or less speechless

Jean-Claude Van Damme has standards? To turn it down because Sly couldn't come up with an explanation as to what his character's motive would be.

That last trailer looked AWESOME! :wow:

I agree. And the EXPENDABLE theme song that was playing at the end of the trailer was also quite good.

Again, THE EXPENDABLES = G.I. JOE if the JOE'S were mercs.

Bwahhahaha! Jean-Claude is taking himself a little too seriously, if this is true. Does he REALLY care about the story or the subject of the movie? Because as of late hasn't his movies been pretty much the same? He is some ex-cia or whatever out for revenge, his daughter kidnapped by russian mob etc. And straight to dvd, of course. Lol.

Didn't Van Damme drop out of this because of schedule conflicts or something? He was making Universal Soldiers right? The above quote can't possibly be true. If it is, I can only lol at Van Damme from now on.

Yeah the quote is true. He really needs to wake up and smell the coffee. He's a terrible actor, always has been always will be. He passed up on a great role in a great movie because all of a sudden he cares about the character he is playing hahaha what an idiot.

I saw the Losers trailer with Clash of the Titans last night and it fell completely flat. You could pretty much hear the crickets chirping after it was over. It was like the trailer was trying way too hard to sell the actors and make them cool and it failed.

watched the trailer again
it has to be the most manly trailer ever created :D

i think the losers will be the smartest of the 3 not sure what that means tho lol

i read somewhere that two cuts of the film have been made
1 pg-13
the other R

and they were gonna test screen both to see which version to release in cinemas...anyone else heard this ?

I'm hoping for an R rating :)

The R rated one won out according to the unit publicist.

Check February 9th:

One thing for sure the expendables is not pg-13!!!
