I can't wait to get the Shinedown song from the trailer.

Something tells me Stallone's character will die in this film and the sequels will feature Jason Statham's character as the leader of the Expendables...

for some reason i love this part in the trailer

*stallone shoots past Statham*
Statham: are you crazy..... could've KILLED ME"
Stallone: You're welcome

just the way stallone says that is badass :D

Why isn't there a fight scene with Sly, Willis and Arnold? You got those three in a same scene and all they do is talk? That's just wasted opportunity.

It is what it is... maybe if they do a sequel and Arnold/Willis come back, they will have more of a supporting role. Maybe do an action scene at the climax where their "guys" fail to get the job done and they have to do what they do best if you know what I mean... :hehe:

Jet Li is probably thinking, "Great..I'm stuck in a movie with a bunch of guys on high protein diets."

:D

The exact look on his face would be this:

As of six hours ago, the movie is still thankfully R rated.

@joshmassey1 its rated R

Speaking of twitter, doesn't anyone else find the background to Steve Austin's one hilariously inappropriate?

Scott Adkins on being offered a role in the "The Expendables"

"For personal reasons I had to turn it down", the actor says. "I was extremely disappointed at the time but at least it allowed me to do Undisputed III which I'm very happy with. I've heard that The Expendables is great and I really hope it performs well at the box office because I plan on bugging the hell out of Sly for a part in The Expendables 2. There are many other high profile roles I've been in line for which you will never hear about, it's all part of being in the business and being able to deal with rejection, disappointment and just plain bad luck. "

Adkins is a sick ass martial artist. Haven't seen any of his films though. Apart from Wolverine if you count it.

They need to get Biehn and Russell on board for the sequel before anyone else.

Imagine that. Arnie, Sly, Bruce, Dolph, Statham... then Biehn and Russell?!?! Lord jeebus..

I'm surprised Stallone never asked Russell since they worked on Tango and Cash. I loved them in that film, especially when they're throwing jokes back and forth during that court scene near the beginning.

"You sat on a chair with him pinned under it?!"

"I couldn't find a piano" :hehe:

That first line is paraphrasing since I don't remember exactly how it was said.
