Supervillain = higher level villain.

Joker, Lex Luthor, Braniac, Magneto, Kang. They're "supervillains".
Shocker, Purple Man, and other z listers are "villains".

The "super" has nothing to do with their powers, just their menacing ability.

finally saw this yesterday. It was a lot of fun, and i was surprised at the quality of some of the writing (especially Rourke's monologue - that was great).

though, i was disappointed with the action. Most of it was too dark and hectic. Plus, i was hoping for Rambo 4 level of brutality. Though, the fact that I saw Piranha 3D the night before might have desensitized me a bit.

I'm not knocking Crank, I just don't think it's his best movie. And yes the AA-12 is an awesome shotgun.
