Comics The '07 X-Event: Endangered Species, Messiah Complex, & Disassembled

his dupes had their own personalities back in X-Factor before it was canned. i also believe he could recall them wthout touching them too. and that whole mega copying himself was awesome(and very Naruto-ish)

Well, those first two probably aren't the same as they are now, because Madrox was acting very surprised at those things now, especially the specific way he absorbed the dupes back. Think of it as literally sucking them back in like he's a big vacuum. Plus his personality stands out so much more along with a healthy portion of comical snark that's a lot more at the forefront than before.

Actually, his comments aren't so much ass-like and they're quite funny, and he's become a lot more relatable since he's the leader of the team now, we get a lot more of a look at what makes him tick. Kinda hard to explain unless ya haven't read it yourself.

i just may check it out. if you like it, it cant be all bad. i hate Siryn though

Really? Why do you hate Siryn? I dont read X Factor monthly, but if I did it would be because she is in it. I loved her in X-Force.

I gave up on X-Factor because of the art... it sucks... my last issue is 9, did the art get any better since? If so I might reconsider buying it again

it may be because i dont have a thing for red heads. but in xforce i didnt like her or her interaction with Warpath, she dogged him. i liked her dad, Banshee, didnt think they needed a female version of him, drinking problems and all.

Younger female (she started as jailbait, didn't she?) version of a male superhero. REALLY think about it. :wow:

Daughter or not, the premise is still the same. :wow:

Then Scott should have another daughter, Rachel is Jean's mini version, it's totally against protocol!! :woot:

Well, thanks to things like X-Factor, she now has some elements to her power that Banshee never had.

like what? nothing too varient enough to make the power her own.

i'm sure she still has the base power that she got from bansee and enables her to fly along with make one go deaf and break glass....and concrete. i think i've seen her crack concrete before...

back in x-force, when they brought in Risque for Proudstar(much better name than Warpath). i was soo happy they were weening him from Siryn.

if had to choose between Banshee or Siryn dying.....well...its a moot point now

Doesn't also have the ability to talk during the screaming? I remember something like that. It was kinda odd.

So I take it you loved when Feral shut her up, literally? LOL

the art is good. It was only bad when Calero was here but he's been gone for a while

Thanks Havok.

Syrin was my favorite X-Forcer... it was kinda cool seeing her "evolve" into the role of leader and how naturally it came to her eventually. Post AoA X-Force was the best X-Force ever...

Wait, you guys thought Calero's art was bad? Sook's was better, granted, but Calero really got the mood perfectly. I really like his style.

I actually really really liked Feral and hated her going evil..or revealing herself to be evil...or whatever she did. so glad they brought her sister in as a Feral replacement. if Feral were truly evil she would have rid us of Siryn once and for all.

i cant possily see how either Banshee or Siryn would be able to return from the dead...their power set just doesnt allow for it.

I actually think James made a better leader...and Sunspt...and Caliban(ok that didnt happen)

post AoA...was that when Warren Ellis took overand ruined the book?

Actually the book started going downhill when Adam pollina left as artist. That and I didnt like Jesse Bedlam. he was as useful as Doug Ramsey. except the kid that can talk to machines on Heroes showed me the potential of bedlam's character. the on-the-road Xforce of Proudstar, Sunspot, Moonstar, Meltdown, Siyrn and Caliban..and i think Ricto was the best IMO. But pollina's art was soo kick ass, he even made Shatterstar interesting.

Post Aoa was when they moved into the mansion, with Cable back as leader, all wearing purple-outfits. It was when Pollina started. Ellis totally ruined the book, I gave up on it then.

I didn't dislike Bedlam, but I didn't truly care about him. I loved Cheung's art back then (and I still love his art now). The whole Moonstar/Arcadia saga was kinda cool.

Well, there's that, and the most recent addition that PAD made at the start of the new X-Factor is she can use her voice to make others basically fall in love with her and want to do whatever they can for her, just like the Siryn's of Greek myth.

ITA. LOVED X-force after AOA. Actually I started to pick it up around OZT. That IMO was its best era. The combo of Moore and Polina did wonders for the book. I loved when Dani was introduced bc she was my favorite New Mutant. I loved the book up until Revolution when Marvel screwed it all up

I cant beleive so many people enjoyed Calero on this title. I thought his work was sloppy and horrendous
