the on-the-road Xforce of Proudstar, Sunspot, Moonstar, Meltdown, Siyrn and Caliban..and i think Ricto was the best IMO. But pollina's art was soo kick ass, he even made Shatterstar interesting.

The team consisted of 5 characters. Caliban and Rictor werent in it. I loved that lineup and it was the best. I read #71 or #72 and got instantly hooked. The book was just that damn good

LOL..I noticed you left Tabitha out. She was the only one I couldnt stand. She always was a more annoying version of Jubilee to me. Take a look at these covers. How great were they? It pretty much summed up the new direction the title was taking. In the second one, the paper underneath Dani orignally said "Will fight evil for food" in the ads that appeared in the Marvel books and Wizard at the time....lol

It pretty much summed up the new direction the title was taking. In the second one, the paper underneath Dani orignally said "Will fight evil for food" in the ads that appeared in the Marvel books and Wizard at the time....lol

hell YES!! the road team rocked...i included the others only because i remember Pollina drawing them too. I just love pollina's work. plus once on the road meant the coming of Risque..and she rocked as well

I didn't like Ellis' run on X-Force, but I actually felt that he wrote the most interesting Beldam. And as for my favorate eras, I agree that after the AoA with the purple suits was probably best, followed by that spirt that Cheung drew, but the rest was pretty bad. I couldn't stand the road trip area, and much of the earlier stuff was kinda drab. I personally liked a lot of the Caliban, Sabretooth, Mimic stuff. I thought that was all pretty good.

cheung's art turned me off. i mean who could possibly follow up pollina. i enjoyed the whole run all the way up to ellis. he killed it for me.

I liked Cheung's art but preferred Pollina. One thing I hated about Cheung was that he drew all his faces the same and he still does that today. But still, he was decent and we could have gotten alot worse

Shows how f'ing biased they are if it turns out to be true. The last time JQ joked about killing a character, Speedball, look what happened...

Exactly, they didn't kill Speedball, they just gave him a big push. It didn't turn out the way fans wanted it, but things still didn't work out the way JQ said they would, so I don't know why you're getting in such a huff, since he's clearly joking around.

No, they just turned him into a masochistic zombie that's a black hole of a character. Why could anyone possibly dread a similar fate for one of their favorite characters?

And I know he's joking, but JQ has a bad record of joking about characters that he's about to screw over. Speedball, Spider-Man...is Cyclops supposed to be next? Who knows? But I'd rather it be Cyke that was 'winning the fight of his life'.

I really wish they would put some of these comic book runs on disc. I'd really like to read them but I don't want to buy them all.
