That's because Cable wasn't willing to trust Cyke, or damn near anyone involved in the fight, for that matter.

Xavier, however, he was at least willing to listen to, because the Prof. hadn't been involved in any of the key happenings in the crossover. He hadn't shown any kind of motive.

And it's not so much that Cable feared Scott had a "motive." He was just afraid that the X-Men would never be able to protect the baby.

We had the X-Men battling predator X!! and Wolverine slicing him up from the inside! and Bishop loosing an arm! and Rogue doing a OMD and erasing everything that had happened to her! And Mystique crying! And Xavier got shot in the head! And no X-Man said "we'll stick with Charly's dream because we still believe in it" like they would have!!

You're right it was complete and utter garbage... someone give me a copy of the AOA so I can read a proper crossover please....

Well, it seems I'll read parts of the new Uncanny (I have no interest in Emma or Scott ATM) So I'll read the Kurt, Logan, and Peter parts. (Heh, Peter parts)

Also, I'm done with x-books, now. Uncanny only sticks because It has history. And of course X-factor barely has anything to do with the x-line, so it stays on my list.

I mean, did you read about Young x-men? No. I don't care about those characters (Funny how two of them are hellions) And Scott is being a fool. No. This book is no. The only way I'd buy it is if Anole was in it.

So that's it:

X-factor = The best damn x-book.
Uncanny = History.
And Anole = Gay.

These are the only books i'm sticking with. Anole should get his own book.

But Bishop got an arm eaten...his right arm....yet the panel clearly shows a left hand in Predetor X's mouth....actually it'skinda unclear which hand it is, but leans a lot more towards the left.

Somehow i dont think the arm eaten thing is gonna stick at all...

and what happened to Bishop after he accidentally capped the professor( and made for damn certain that the x-traitor was PERMANENTLY taken care of)

Damn but that was all good! Everything tied up nicely, lotsa fighting but with time and room made for some serious reflection on things and meaningful conversation.

Bishop's arm - brilliant! (check out the cable preview cover for like, March I think it was for more on that and how it will stick)
Bishop's treachery - brilliant. They guy has become stale and unusable since post Onslaught. It makes it like everything he has done has been building to that moment but we dont know for sure.

Xavier getting killed - not bad. Not too sure if that'll stick considering the mentions of Charles fighting for his life and Magneto powerless is upcoming issues (magneto being powerless makes me think it is present time). But hell, they just killed off the spidey marriage, so Chuck dying isnt a big blow

But now I wonder... who is the baby? Just a baby; or considering her being raised in the future is she someone who might travel back in time at some point and be someone we already know?

well... they had the baby grab cykes locket of him and jean for a reason... not to mention the baby's face oddly matured for an artistic point near the last few panels.. too look alot like a red headed certain someone...

now the question is... they obviously want us to think it's jean... but, even though im not too knowledgable about her youth past... it could also be future baby rachel.

Kinda prefer the jean angle though....

i don't see how it'd mess up her history... not if she was reincarnated... now if for some reason jean was always from the future.. then ya.. that'd be one hell of a messed up retcon

It's not an error, read X-Men Legacy (or the last Carey interview) to know what happened there.

I loved this last issue except the art. Bachalo's art here was even worse than before.

I'm excited yet hesitant for Legacy. It sounds hella cool, but it's a bit out there.
