Comics The '07 X-Event: Endangered Species, Messiah Complex, & Disassembled

really? the fake Xorn seemed to make him out as an 'all powerful' kinda guy. strong enough to fend off Wanda's little hex

He was in the last two arcs of Austen's X-Men run, then he left to be by himself or whatever, and then he was included in the lists of the depowered afterward.

As far as the Xorn in Planet X or whatever that arc was, I think the official explaination that people are giving is that he's the older Xorn brother, high on Kick and being partially influenced by Sublime into impersonating Magneto. O_o

I hope this Tony = skrull talk is just a joke.

I think most people do... It'd be a horrible cop-out.

Of course, the real question here is what member of X-Nation is a Skrull? I mean, there's gotta be at least one, right?

Some people at comixfan are saying Emma.

Ha. Well, if Cyclops is going to have a big year then that's one way to start it...

And heck, he is going to rally the X-Men, right? What better inspiration then finding out the woman you've been banging for ages is actually an alien spy? :woot:

Wouldn't that technically count as bestiality on Scott's part?

Eh, I wouldn't think so... I guess you'd term it extraterrestiality? And technically he wouldn't be the first Marvel character to do it anyway. Ask the Human Torch.

But since Torch already did that 'marrying alien' thing, revealing Emma as an actually alien spy doesn't sound so original in a big event.

I've seen people mention this. Why do people say it'll be Emma? Is it speculation or has something been said that would lead people to believe Emma is a skrull?

But then EMMA would've noticed, what with all that 'her mind-f****ng him' routine. ;)

Ah, come on, Xorn was cool before they retconned him like 3 times. :D

Well, I was judging it as a whole.

But yeah, that whole thing was amazing. It was the darkest we'd seen Magneto in YEARS, and I absolutely loved it (eh, except Phoenix getting offed AGAIN, that was lame).

And then they took it all away from me by having it be the brother of Xorn, impersonating Magneto, impersonating Xorn, impersonating...

Speaking of which... Have you ever seen this video dealing with that particular topic, Darth?

Morrison's Magneto RULED.

Just am not a big fan of misunderstood visionary/saint thingy. Cause apparently, villanous raving lunatics don't OWN. :whatever:

Working on it.

Eh, that's a product of Magneto fans. They loved him so much that Marvel thought no one would be happy if he was just a bad ass villain. He had to be a semi-good guy every now and then...

The fools...

Pure evil rather than that wimpy gray area any day of the week. :D

Just finished the video. Funny.

Loved the Jean cameo in the end and the insanely accurate portrayal of her getting owned in Planet X. :D

That's the problem nowadays... Every villain has to be a misguided visionary that slowly develops as a character and realizes that they're wrong. Then they have an epiphany, try to commit suicide, and whine a lot. Stupid new age of comic villains.

I think that's why they had ot dig up Sinister and the Marauders. There are no hardcore X-Villains left besides them.

Yeah, I'm not with the people who think Mags is just misunderstood/'mutant hero'.

I like him a bit better when he's extra evil. Screw the shades of grey "depth". Give me the adamantium pulling SOB.
