The 6 Worst Things to Eat at the Theater

It's cool and all, but I personally can not eat food when I watch a movie in the theatre. Even if it's a long ass one, I just don't eat...if I need a drink, I go to the water fountain and come back. I can't get these people that need a giant meal for an hour and a half flick. My old man still sneaks in cans of Pepsi and sandwiches from home because, as he says, "he's not taking it up the ass from these concession people."

I order a small diet coke, and it's still almost too much for me to finish. A medium is enormous.

My theatres tickest cost $4 before 3, $5 from 3-6, and $6 from 6-12pm.

I might get a Icee but they've gone up to like $6 where I usually go and that's just not happening. So I'll start toting in my own stuff again. Water and a snack, the snack usually varies.

Great minds think alike. I'm planning on a similar adventure on Friday or Monday. I am hoping to see Incredible Hulk, Indiana Jones, and either The Happening or Don't Mess with the Zohan.

As for beverages and food, an x-large Coke is mandatory for me. I might eat some popcorn, I might not. I usually don't get anything else. Maybe some nachos but that is about it.

The worst possible food at a movie theatre - a hot dog.

I know and their damn phone lights brighten up the whole theatre I think if you get caught doing it, you should get a warning and then get kicked out if caught again.

That's the downside to stadium seating. If you're up high and looking down, you see every single flash, blink and screen light from phones, Bluetooth, and whatever else they have.

Jesus Christ...according to that article, the soft pretzels with that nasty nacho cheese crap have almost 3,100 milligrams of sodium! That's insane.

wow i'm glad i dont buy anything when i go to movies.

when we go out for movies nights with the coworkers, we usually stop at a restaurant and eat real food first. (we're all usually night shift so this is our dinner meal)

most of us will smuggle water or something in our purses and some small snacks and avoid buying the overpriced, overfattening stuff.

and i get discounts on ticket prices if i use my old student id, or my DoD work id
