Saw 'I'm Still Here' tonight, and while I already hated 'Emilia Pérez,' I can now confidently say it has absolutely no business beating this. Not even in the same league of filmmaking, embarrassing that they share the same category, and that Emilia's screenplay got a nod over such a detailed, lived-in script. They really make the Paivas feel authentic in a way few biopics manage.
