Only if they had Rudd present and he asks Conan to help him out, but how many of those celebrities would know that bit?
That's why I feel like if Conan comes back to host, he's probably going to get more into his comfort zone of bits from his show, etc.

And he would do those bits with actors who have been on his show many times, like Rudd or Tom Hanks.

So apparently the two male leads in Anora are Putin supporters and have done propaganda films in occupied Crimea. While it’s possible they both have just done this so Putin doesn’t make either of them fall out of a window, it’s worth noting.

The team behind Emilia Perez is amazing. They are the gift that keeps giving... the worst soundbites ever recorded.
Quite literally in the case of that Best Song acceptance speech. That was skin crawling cringe to the umpteenth degree. But you know what's funny that I didn't notice last night? The way Mick Jagger says "El Mal" and the look on his face is absolutely priceless.

I watched the show last night in a packed theater because I was doing photos for the event. Let me tell you that was only worse on a 30 foot tall screen with Dolby. The most uncomfortable thing I've ever seen in my life. It was beautiful. Movie also got booed by the audience every time.

All of us, waiting for @Kane52630 to drop that 98th Annual Academy Awards thread:

I've gotta say, the Best Picture choices for this decade have been pretty solid so far. Nomadland was the one I liked the least but that was also 2020 which by all accounts was kind of a wildcard because of Covid. I still think it was good but if 2020 were a normal year I'm not so sure it still would have taken Best Picture. But then after that? I loved Coda and beyond that Everything Everywhere All At Once, Oppenheimer and Anora have all been certified bangers.

If I’m being completely honest, they need to drop the In Memoriam altogether, because it’s literally this every single year.

Either do everyone in the industry or don’t do it at all. And they’re never going to have enough time/desire to cover everyone.
Digging this up again because it was more than just Trachtenberg. Tony Todd, Bernard Hill, Shannen Doherty, Olivia Hussey and Ken "Oogie Boogie" Page were all left out as well. I think you're right in the sense that they might as well drop it all together to avoid backlash but they'd never do that.

What they COULD do for the sake of the viewers is maybe not include agents and people only actors/Hollywood insiders would know in favor of people who are more well known to the general public. I know it's not in the best taste but who's gonna be more recognizable in an In Memoriam, Shannen Doherty or Susan Sarandon's agent? :o

Well he's playing Joe Jackson in the Michael biopic so it could happen.

People can shout from the rooftops that Demi Moore was robbed but IMO Colman Domingo was the one who was truly robbed last night.
What a thing to say about Robbediana Grande. :o
