I think they will more likely to wait and develop Black Manta more and how they will try to destroy Atlantis

I am not sure, but in the movie someone said something about the two kingdoms being destroyed? They could revisit them somehow. The past involving them could be part of the plot.

Looking it up it says that King Shark is the son of the Shark God, a deity from a Hawaiian island. They could tie all that into the movie if they wanted to.

I've seen King Shark in some Aquaman comics but I don't know his entire past.

Glad to hear they aren’t just bringing Beall back because the movie was successful, as they can and should do much, much better when it comes to the script.

Wan had a problem of doing too much in Conjuring sequel but I don't think it's possible to pack more in one movie than he did in Aquaman, so hopefully this goes better

Yeah with Manta and Dr. Shin who is obsessed with finding Atlantis we will likely get Atlantis having to deal with a surface world, maybe a full scale invasion and how Aquaman as the new king having to handle this crisis. With these two worlds meeting it will hopefully be a more complex story.

I definitely agree. Overall aquaman was a nice 7/10 and did the character justice, but there's stuff to improve on for sure and more room for complexity and themes.

I watched this video a few weeks ago and forgot to mention it, I was so glad that AM wasn't being made into a joke anymore that I didn't think about the deeper meanings until I watched the video. They could have beat you over the head with multiple messages and probably turn a lot of people off instead they wove it into the story in such a way that added to the movie.
