Obviously someone who's mouth is in a continuous pucker mode.Lol who called Black Adam a "gamechanger?"
are we.... SURE about that? *glances at Birdman*Keaton was one of those rare cbm actors who was never embarrassed to be in a cbm. He loved playing Batman and probably had been waiting patiently for three decades for Warner Bros to ask him to suit up again.
Lol, there’s a reason I’ve always differentiated between blog critics and real critics that work for legit respected publications. The former are just nerds like us who sat behind computers all day talking geek movies and TV and were just lucky enough to have the websites they were writing for get enough traffic to become known. The ones who write for Rolling Stone, NY Times etc are generally professional journalists with degrees who had to go through the standard hiring processes at the most competitive publications in the country and continue to be held to certain standards of journalistic integrity by their editors if they want to keep their jobs. All critics are certainly subject to bias, but only one camp is given good reason to at least attempt objectivity and not be such easy and blatant shills. The others are just fans who are thrilled to get the invites.Good lord Nerd Press is so easily swayed. Throw some swag and free screenings at them and they will worship any film. Di$ney learned that decades ago!
That is so true! The hype surrounding Michael Keaton’s return is strong and just check out all the new merch that has come out featuring Keaton’s Batman. Almost feels like we’re reliving 1989 again.
WB/James Gunn would be crazy not to continue on with an Elseworlds film featuring Michael Keaton. Hell, he was due to appear in Batgirl!

Hopefully once SDCC rolls in we get solid news. By then I am sure they will know what the next step is as the movie would have already been out for over a month
I don’t know. On one hand, as a huge Keaton Batman fan, I would LOVE to see more of him and other Burtonverse characters, but I’m also just happy this is even happening and don’t want to get my hopes up.
I would be amazing to get more from Keaton, but if this is a one and done, we should all just be happy it even happened. And in (what sounds like) a solid film.
If she does as well as it sounds like she does, I really hope she gets a shot at Woman of Tomorrow. The story is for an older Kara anyway, so it could work.
Love all of these.

It's weird...Keaton's Batman seems actually kind of...soft in this film. Not in a bad way, like he's got a bigger heart, is more self-reflective and just the fact that he's willing to work with others.
It just kind of makes me wish even more that we got to see a third film where he rounds out his arc. It's a little jarring to go from where things left off in Batman Returns to what they've shown us so far. Obviously 30 years is a lot of time, and I hope they address some of what he's been up to in this film. But he does feel kind of like a somewhat radically different version of the character to me so far. That deliver of "You're strapped to your parachutes!" honestly sounds more Adam West-like than Keaton Batman to me haha.
Nice. There's a shot of Keaton towards the end there that reminds me of when he takes that goon down with his grapple-gun in B89.LOTS of new footage, and the action honestly looks incredible. No sound though for whatever reason.
