Eh, I was just having some fun.

I mean, it's not a secret that I'm not overjoyed with Johns' involvement, but this universe and characters are pre-set by Snyders and Roven, so Johns will have to work within these boundaries, which won't leave much room for him to deviate with the characterizations or **** it up majorly.

It's pretty much the same argument I made regarding worries about other DC film script writers.

Our Flash is gonna be not that guy. [Gustin is] terrific in doing [what he’s doing]. I think that whether it’s The Flash or Arrow, they’re doing a great job with the TV shows they’re doing. Gotham, that show’s really terrific. And we obviously wish them the best. It’s gonna be interesting to see what happens when we have a different Flash in a different universe. We’re gonna try to stay in our universe and they’re gonna be staying, I think, in their universe, and hopefully the audiences will embrace both. I think they can. You know, Supergirl is not in our universe, and that seems to be doing quite well.”

The Flash isn’t slated for release until March 2018 so it’ll be a while before we see Miller’s version get his own story, but Roven revealed that the film is now firmly hashing out its story:

“We are in the script stage. Early, early, early in the script stage.”

Wonder what that means to the Seth Grahame-Smith rumor, would they even have a director nailed at this point? From the way Roven says it, they've just barely started.

He is the director and writer, I have no idea why you are doubting that just because they don't have the script written. The film comes out in 2018, they have no reason to be in a rush.

The trades did confirm that rumour. So its' more or less set. He's also writing the script.

Geoff johns tweets about having dinner with the new Flash Director, Clearly he's taking a stronger role in guiding each director in the DCEU with DC comics lore which is awesome.

Flash 1 Weather Wizard.
Marc or Marco Mardon invents his weather controling staff/sceptre and while testing the new Technology he loses control and conjures a destructive storm over central city and this results in barry getting hit by lightning and becoming the Flash.

Mardons tech was shown off to the government but it malfunctioned so they pulled the funding and left him angry but more determined than ever to finish his work, but how would he continue his work with no funding....Crime maybe?

Omelete: One of the ideas I like from the comics about The Flash's costume is just one red uniform and the bolt. There's a sense of movement in the ears and all that. How do you translate that to the screen and to make it modern and different?

MW: Well, I'm not really at the liberty to talk about The Flash right now, but it's something that you'll be seeing in the future in our films. You do get a glimpse of him, of course, in Batman v Superman. But I'm really looking forward to taking the amazing, iconic costume for The Flash and interpreting it in a fresh way where Ezra Miller is playing The Flash. He's an extraordinary performer, he has a sort of interesting sense of humor and the youth that will be great for Barry Allen and I think he's going to make a great Flash.

MW: "It's a different silhouette than the other ones and I think that's what makes the Justice League so amazing. They all are different, together they are super strong, but they all have their own different fighting styles, their own different look, their own different physique. Warner showed a concept art of Ezra Miller's Flash a panel in Comic Con Experience in Brazil. People are saying his suit looks a mix between the classic and Injustice's, the red tone is vibrant, he has the white logo with the bolt and the "ear thing" is not to big. They're saying it is really good looking!

Because the security there was reinforced. People could not record or take pictures inside the panel room.

I'm very excited to see Ezra's performance and costume but this movie is not as necessary in my eyes as some of the other solo movies on the DC slate

I'm a big fan of the first season of the CW show, it really satisfied my need for live action Flash

I hate to admit it but the show lessened my anticipation for this movie

The main appeal of this new Flash imo is to see him interact alongside the Justice League

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to see how Flash will be done with a movie budget, and I think a lot of things can be done better than the show. Grodd definitely deserves to be in the movies, he can be done more justice here with a bigger budget, and it would be great to see him working with the Legion of Doom and being a major DCEU antagonist just like he was on JLTAS. But Reverse Flash and Captain Cold were done very well on the show, I don't need to see those characters as much.

I love the show so don't get the impression I hate the show by saying this: BUT The show puts so many changes to Barry, he is weak constantly he cannot beat even the weakest villains and has a crew at star labs helping him. Barry mostly defeats his villains through 70% of star labs effort and creations…. I understand his character must be limited to as its a show and they need to have episodes coming at ya…
but damn he struggled with every single villain… even the easiest ones. its disappointing, none of the other villains are not even powered up as greater threats and left aside for individual episodes because the seasons are speedster villain centric like zoom, reverse…

I actually want to see a flash that is more like the comics, animated counterparts and such.. A FLASHPOINT MOVIE is what i wanna see
