and if the justice league are doing that why would the movie just be called justice league instead of batman/superman with jessie eisenberg as lex luthor? i mean just because i know the movie suck or likely be mediocre doesn't mean i won't find the whole thing fun but the movie should've just been patient. besides, we were in need of a wonder woman movie and with how WB is handling they're movie business i don't think we'll even get a decent one.

jessie eisnberg should've been jimmy oslen. people say he's the same age as cavil and has this lex luthor vibe but he still looks young than cavil and lex works better being middle aged or at leats played by bryan cranston who i know will play a marvel role in the future.

i also hope we get an amazing spiderman 2 director's cut on blue ray. the rough cut was finished so i don't expect to see much green screen no wires nor even unfinished cgi.

I think Eisenberg is a great choice as Lex Luthor. Before Lex was even cast, Goyer stated that he envisioned Luthor more along the lines of Bill Gates in terms of stature and wealth. Eisenberg fits the Zuckerberg/Gates mold to a "T." It's a little odd because we're so used to seeing him play in roles such as Zombieland and Adventureland, but overall, it's a great choice when you think about it. Same with Ben Affleck as Batman, it's an out of the box choice, but great when you really think about it.

Meh, I really don't care for the idea of Batman being against Superman since they both have the same goals. Any Batman vs. Superman "fight" should essentially be along the same lines as this:

i guess that's true. eisenberg kinda does fit and when i used kinda i mean eisnberg also uses alot of smart talks. i know luthor uses smart talks but eisenberg's is awkward while more emotionless which is good for the emotionless part since lex is a monster. bryan cranston would've been good with his obsessesive but seing as how he's not playing gordan nor luthor i expect him to be in a marvel role.

i heard ben's acting has really improved. it';s really strange how a comic book fan and talented writer such as himself isn't even writing nor co writing the damn thing. heck, i could've said that about his daredevil movie as well as well as all of the other subpar movies he's been in.

it would've been an insult to see batman win considering how much people are sucking his dick and keep comparing him to other heroes. if he wins this fight in theaters i won't be able to hear the end of it

Yeah. I think Batman and those JLers in BvS drive Superman off planet at end of the film. Cliffhanger and tie-in to JL.

I see the first half of JL being Batman formally forming and recruiting the JL. The threat being to fight off Superman if he reurns. But a new threat arises bigger than the JL can handle and in the final act Superman returns and saves the JL from being defeated.

This movie is likely about their first meeting, so even if their goals are the same, Batman and Superman probably don't know each others motivations and intent, so you might get a similar situation to The Avengers where Tony and Thor fight each other to take custody of Loki.

If the first full trailer for this movie shows Batman and Superman battling each other, the GA will be hyped up like no movie they've seen before, myself included. Batman vs Superman has been a debate that's been running for ages, so to see a glimpse of it in live action will get a lot of people excited.

Even though the sinister six movie is confirmed I don't think it'll have a chance even making it into theaters knowing avi and sony's habit of interfering with the creative teams. The sinister sic looks to be their last chance and if they screwed this up theyre ****ed and if they're screwed chances are there won't be any more spinoffs nor even a sequel. Marvel and fox seems to know what they're doing by letting guys like Bryan singer and Joss whedon handle their own **** while Sony is just so stupid enough to ruin the franchise and even their business's. I know companies are always like this but don't they even know what's at stake here? I can't believe they were even this optimistic spoiling everything in the trailers, cutting parts of the movie, and even replacing them with a few scenes that don't match well even cutting out some really important lines from the movie. And now TASM 2 still isn't making enough money as they

A director's cut won't do anything for this movie, Sony hired Webb because they could control him. Adding some extra scenes that were on the cutting room floor won't change the movie drastically, it'll still basically be the same thing. Sony was there every step of the way making this movie.

A sinister six movie...... Yeah people know what's going on at Sony. It'll likely fail do to their interference like they did with raimi and Webb. Intact, they might screw over Goddard so hard he'll likely leave and the project will likely get cancelled as well as other future projects. Their biggest mistake was all of that over exposure of advertisements, editing so many important things that screws over the movie's plots and characterization, and replacing so many well executed moments with moments that don't mesh that well. If S6 is their last chance and if they screw that up then they're ****ed. As I always say the best thing for them to do other than give the rights back to marvel is to give us a directors cut and creative freedom to our directors and writers

It made $7,875,000 WW last weekend.

Domestic: $3.775m ($192,732,297)
O/S: $4.1m ($497,300,000)
WW: $690,032,297

It has at best $7-9m more left domestically. It loses China this week and looks to do about $5-6m more O/S. That's $12-15m. That takes it to at most $705m WW. If it all of a sudden develops insane legs and makes $5m more it might reach $710m.

This is a heavily SFX movie which means many cut scenes probably weren't finished so it would probably cost Sony millions more to complete those scenes, and even more if they actually needed the cast to come back for any pick ups and then have Webb re-edit.

There's also the question of whether Webb's preferred cut is a) different b) better or c) something Sony wants out there.
