Hehehehe. I got your reference.

I can see them doing a spin on the comics incident while keeping the general spirit. But whether they do remains to be seen.

This could even be a foreshadowing to said incident. It may not happen now, but is destined to later.

It was at sunset. The original comics shows a much brighter day, but the "Marvels" panel shows a darker day.

As long as Jamie Foxx doesn't show up in the scene, we're all okay with this, I guess.

In the comics the proceeding scenes (where Norman remembered everything and swiftly abducts Gwen) were clearly described as being at night. Presumably when the colorist got to work on the book they didn't know they should have used darker blues for the skyline in the Bridge confrontation to indicate this (likewise the script writer didn't pick up on the artist having drawn the Brooklyn Bridge instead of the GW one).

And of course there's the title of the story, which they held off for the last page "The Night Gwen Stacy Died".

most dark scenes are filmed at night, i think this will be no different

actually, most night scenes in movies are filmed in daytime and then converted in post.

Probably most of his filming will be in interiors. Osborn's house (or hospital), Oscorp, the Green Goblin's chamber...

Little idea for how it could all play out, basing this on some of the things we know:

Spidey spying on Harry - Harry looks a bit of a mess in that, it would suggest that something is up.
Dehaan saying he'll be involved in a love triangle - sort of a motivation to kill Gwen? If it is indeed a love triangle like that.

Therefore Spidey thinks that it's Harry as Goblin, audience perhaps thinks it is and then the Norman reveal at some point.

And we likely won't. I wouldn't be shocked if his scenes are being kept ABOVE top secret.

Primarily because the implications that everything he does in ASM2 will have on ASM3.

If Gwen dies, I don't think it will be a graphic death like falling off the bridge and snapping a neck or anything. Sort of like how Rachel was killed off in TDK trilogy. I think Gwen will try to help some innocent bystanderds on the bridge and get killed in the process.

I'd imagine it'll be something similar in tone to SPOILERS FOR IRON MAN 3:

Pepper Potts' supposed death. It was executed very well in the moment.

You all seem to be jumping the gun here. Gwen standing on a bride staring longingly at the water does not necessarily mean that the Goblin will all of a sudden appear, take her up to the top and drop her. Her clothes look similar to the comics panel, sure, but I just don't think this is significant. And like someone said, for such an important and iconic scene, I highly doubt they would shoot it outdoors in broad daylight where anyone could snap pics.

Plus, why would any of you even want to see the "Death of Gwen Stacy" storyline play out in a movie that already has Electro as the main heavy, Rhino playing a part, and the introductions of Harry, MJ, and Norman? That's a lot of ground to cover in one film. I, for one, love the Green Goblin and don't want him to be sidelined just to squeeze in Gwen's death. I think Norman's fate (becoming GG) will be alluded to and built up throughout this film while the Spidey vs. Electro plays out and we'll get a full-on Goblin story (with Gwen's death) in the next film. It's just so much more logical. I think it's weird people can't see that.

Not even because his scenes are being kept top secret...but likely because he's only filming at the indoor Oscorp and Oscorp apartment locations...as Norman Osborn, not the GG.

It could be that the bridge scene is the first time Spidey and GG face, and Gwen dies. That'd be a hell of a first confrontation, no?

But I feel like theres an equal or even more possibility that it might not even be GG that kills her
