Andrew looks WAY too much like the college 616 Peter. They've should've kept his look from the first movie or have this one take place in college already.

Why is it that in the last one we got the perfect looking Peter Parker with a good but not perfect looking Spider-Man while in this one we get a perfect looking Spider-Man with a good but not perfect looking Peter Parker?

Um, they probably are in college. We haven't seen anything indicating they're still in high school and we already know from the NYC article that there's a girl's college dorm room in the film from Columbia College.

They're in high school. The synopsis confirms it.

That synopsis does not confirm they're in high school for the whole film, or even at all for that matter. He could be graduated right at the start for all we know. My point is, saying he looks too much like college Peter when for all we know he IS college Peter is jumping the gun.

Same here. It's weird. Sure, we got "Ultimate Peter" in TASM in terms of young, modern, and edgy, but in TASM2, it looks like we're getting 616 Peter in terms of appearance (he looks older), clothing (his style now reminds me of Camuncoli's Peter and Stegman's Peter, basically anything real recent), but to me, in a sense this is also "Ultimate" Peter with the way he looks. He looks so modern. When Ultimate came out, it was a modern take on Peter, and with the way he's looking now it looks very contemporary. Both TASM and TASM2.

Oh, and can we stop saying Harry is/looks strung out on drugs now? It's pretty clear he's working for Oscorp with how he dresses (and the fact he gets in and out of Oscorp vehicles).

I never got the impression that TASM's Peter was Ultimate Peter. He was always a lot more like the 616 Peter than the Ultimate Peter to me.

I think there is this false belief that anything that looks updated, modern, or serious as opposed to dated, retro, and cheesy is automatically from Ultimate as opposed to Amazing. As if the Amazing comics are dated and cheesy when a lot of the times, they're ironically a lot more modern, realistic, and serious than Ultimate.

Feels like an interesting universe that we're about to delve into. Lots of things are gonna be told and covered. Just excited. I call it now: best superhero movie of 2014?? Haha

So far it looked fantastic. At least that was until I saw those images of Gwen. Now I'm really worried she will die in this one and not at GG's hands. That will completely take me out of the movie if that is the case.

On the topic of how Gwen will die...

So what if at the end of the movie, after Electro's in prison or whatever, Peter decides after all this, he needs to talk to Gwen. But when he gets to he building where she lives, he sees her apartment is on fire. So he runs up to the apartment, saves Gwen's mother & brothers from the fire, and asks where Gwen is, who doesn't know. And the final shot before the credits roll is a pumpkin bomb.

Ugh. No offense but I don't like that at all. Completely takes away everything that made her death work including his duel with GG and turns her death into Rachel's death 2.0

Woh. What if...what if Harry is...British? I'm not kidding. The working title was "London Calling", there seems to be a boat behind Andrew in the bottom two pictures and DeHann is looking VERY much like Pryce from Mad Men (a British man--see below).
