Woh. What if...what if Harry is...British? I'm not kidding. The working title was "London Calling", there seems to be a boat behind Andrew in the bottom two pictures and DeHann is looking VERY much like Pryce from Mad Men (a British man--see below).

Considering how long Oscorp has been in the picture in this universe, even IF Norman is british, he'd have moved to America before Harry's birth. Or for the theory to remain, Harry would have been sent to school in England during his childhood years.

Its an interesting concept, but I don't think they're british.

He technically did risk his life for a child - Peter. The meaning of his death was also to show what a dedicated police officer he was, which is what the whole movie shows as well not only by his actions at the end but also by the way he looks at and confronts vigilantism. I love the fact that he wins that argument at dinner against Peter and actually knows what he is talking about as opposed to other cops in other superhero stories that are usually ignorant and biased towards the superhero/vigilante.

I admit I would've preferred seeing him get killed by Ock but the way they did it worked too IMO.

But yet the "child" is Spider-Man, lol. I get it if you want to give it some sense and how it works for you, but I'd prefer to see Doc Ock being involved...I'm glad you would have preferred it too

I'm late to this discussion. But I assume youre talking about Stacy. On that note, I wonder if he wouldve sacrificed himself if he didn't know Spider-Man was Peter/a kid.

He made the decision that, while the city needs Peter, he's still a kid and couldn't just stand by while this kid was risking his life.

I saw some other photos of Andrew and Dane shooting. They're actually by the bridge, or a bridge. So if this is the same scene as Gwen..it doesn't make sense. This could possibly be before Gwen's death. It looks like they're catching for the first time. Who knows.

For anyone wondering why Andrew/Peter looks college age in this, its because he likely will be.

A report on the production a few months back said that a college dorm room set was being built. Particularly female.

With that in mind, as well as the synopsis, this movie likely takes place during the end of his high school senior year to the beginning of/midway through his Freshman year of college.

Btw, something else that supports this theory is that some of the casting calls asked for extras to wear Spring/Summer wear while others called for Fall/Winter wear. Many of the set photos showcased the latter and some, the former.

I never got the impression that TASM's Peter was Ultimate Peter. He was always a lot more like the 616 Peter than the Ultimate Peter to me.

I think there is this false belief that anything that looks updated, modern, or serious as opposed to dated, retro, and cheesy is automatically from Ultimate as opposed to Amazing. As if the Amazing comics are dated and cheesy when a lot of the times, they're ironically a lot more modern, realistic, and serious than Ultimate.

I'd just like to say I think Andrew is passing quite well for high school age, after all he's about 30 now and I feel still looks like a young 19-20 year old, which I find impressive. How many men do you know that look drastically different from a high school Junior, Senior or College Freshman? IMO most men look the same from 17-25, if they stay in good health/shape. IMO Andrew could have easily passed for 16 or 17 in TASM, only his wardrobe has aged him, but not his looks, he looks very young for sure.

So.... CBM just reported that Gwen was spotted lifeless on set today but pics to verify are unlikely because they weren't letting ANYONE with Any sort of camera near the filming of the scene. Complete lockdown on this one. So for now, its being taken as rumor because verification is, currently, impossible.
