I haven't seen anyone bring up the possibility of him being Alistair Smythe or Miles Warren.

Interesting. Personally I wouldn't picture Smythe going down there to see Conners himself. Though it would explain how he seemed to disappear if it turned out to be a small robot projecting a holographic image of himself. The possibility of spider slayers and other cool robots would be cool (hopefully they would be able to pull it off better than the videogame did).

I think Miles Warren is a more interesting prospect because you'd expect him to be involved more at the heart of things. However the whole issue of clones is a bit too much I think for the movies. If they kept it just to genetic experiments like cross-species and such then I could see him being used in some form. Though I'm not sure if I'd have him end up looking like the villain does in the comics. It would be a similar situation to doing a direct translation of the Green Goblin costume and probably look a bit hokey.

I guess I wouldn't mind Miles Warren. I'd love to finally see some other Spider-Man costumes used in the Movies. And I guess the only way that would ever happen, is if we get some clones.

Definitely don't want to see clones. Wouldn't say no to seeing Miles Morales (preferably without killing off Peter), but no clones.

That could very well be possible, I could see that. But what I imagine is just this-

I mentioned this before but the new web shooter design look similar to the concept designs for TASM.

So maybe it's safe to expect something like these?

If we ever get clones, it should only be Ben. I just want an excuse to see another outfit and not always the classic red & blue.

Personally I just don't see it being pulled off well. Even if it was just Ben. I don't think there's much in the story that could be adapted well and I just don't see Andrew Garfield (or anyone really) doing the on screen twin thing and it looking good.

Just get two different actors to play the twins. It worked in the movie "Twins" with Arnold and Danny Devito.....i couldnt tell the difference between the two. t:

Speaking of black... Wonder what would happen to his web shooters when / if the symbiote is introduced? I'd love for them to become black. I mean, they'd kinda have to, or they'd stick out like a pair of sore thumbs.

Man, wonder what the symbiote suit itself would look like, too.

I could accept clones if it turned out that the parents that Peter thought he knew as a child were actually clones of the original Richard and Mary Parker created by Osborn. I wouldn't do a clone as an villain; they would be for Osborn's scientific study. Osborn could've decided to clone the original Richard and Mary Parker, who would be shamans from a cult that worshipped a spider-god (actually the symbiote, frozen in the wastes of Antarctica). Osborn's failing health could have instilled in him enough desperation to buy into such fantasies as shamanic healing powers.

Just thought I stop by and say I love that they seem to be turning up the humor and smack talk from Spidey, if the new pics are anything to go by.

Also the suit looks great. Looks exactly like Spider-Man.

That's cool, I just don't agree. It would work great as a sci-fi horror and thriller done correctly, and would be a great follow up to a Venom/Carnage saga to me.

The original clone saga started out good. It went wrong because Marvel dragged it out for so freakin' long and added unnecessary plot twists and extra clones and crap. It had the potential to be really interesting though.
