Have people forgotten that stunt doubles exist because i'm pretty sure they do

I am pretty sure the rumours of Harry being GG are correct

1.I never thought Cooper would be able to do any of the stunts and I was shocked they chose someone 60+ to play a Villain that needed plenty of stunts

2.In an interview someone introduce Dane Dehaan as 'He is the Villain in the new spider-man movie'
At that time people screamed Venom but now it makes sense

3.The shot of Spidey stalking Harry at his house and especially that bruise on his face

4.And the most important clue,Foxx has been asking to look for Dane Dehaan atleast 4 times in different interviews
Why would he mention it so many times if it was a simple role of Harry Osborn? Always seemed weird to me but now it makes complete sense
And Foxx doesn't seem like someone who keeps his mouth shut about Spoilers(He gave away Electro's back story, his voice and the Lullaby already)

Well actually it was at the premiere of his film, "Kill Your Darlings" and the director was introducing the cast. When he got to Dane, he said, "He's the Green Goblin."

From HitFix:
Krokidas introduced the cast of "Darlings" which includes Daniel Radcliffe, Ben Foster and Michael C. Hall. When he got to DeHaan he said "He's the Green Goblin." DeHaan just smiled, but it didn't seem like Krokidas was kidding.

This was a while ago.

If harry becomes green goblin i'l be surprised because i will wonder what this means for norman osborn, he has the connection to peters parents after all so his role will have to be concluded in some way or another

infact wasn't there a Rumor also about 3 chambers one with Normans head in it

I have never seen green goblin do that many stunts in any Spider-man, not even raimis spider-man, he is usually just on the glider

I don't see how that hints at green goblin because if green goblin turns up at all it will be around the end probably and i can't see that being the end shot

I think Dehaan will eventually become Venom...that will be a unexpected twist. I don't suspect we will ever see an Eddie Brock incarnation again...Raimi has ruin that character from ever appearing on screen again, imo.

As for Cooper, I certainly don't see how his age has anything to do with casting a villain to do stunts. That's what stand-ins does...especially when the stand-in dons the mask(ala Darth Vader).

Ruined the character forever? I don't think so. If they went the ultimate route, Eddie could play a huge role and if casted properly they could hit it out of the park.

They went the ultimate route, how did that work 4ya. The character has to be re-invented from ALL PREVIOUS INCARNATION OF THE CHARACTER beit comics, cartoon, and film. Dehaan could be that re-invention. Cause if Spidey kills his "Arch-Villain" Norman/GG, what better way than to have his second "Arch-Villain"(no disrespect to DocOck) be his son, as his own incarnation; which in this case would be Venom, and not a rehashed second GG.

Harry/Venom is one of the stupidest things marvel has ever done imo

 Ok, explain how...give a good explanation why you feel that way.

because it's mashing two characters that are completely different, into 1. with honestly no other point than Shock Value. Harry isn't really the harry we know, neither is venom, and Brock doesn't even exist. It's all at the expense of "change for the sake of change" which is never a good thing

Also... are you seriously defending the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon that is universally panned?

wow there guys, it's obvious they're going the Spectacular route. You know.. remember dat twist with Goblins? Yeah it's happening, just you wait!

A teaser will answer so many questions...

I understand what you are saying, I don't think you fully grasp what I was. I'm not talking about mashing anything together. I plainly said do away with all previous incarnations, and completely "Re-Invent" the character. I don't know what so hard to understand about that. The character is desperate need of re-invention. The character as is has no real, mature motivation, no real reason for existence, and outside of just stalking the hell out of Peter/Spidey, what then....where do the character go from there?

The same can be said for GG2, which never lived up to it potential, nor the legacy or plight of the Norman Goblin. here is a chance for the character to set himself aside from a rehashment, and create his own legacy; yet, still tied to the Osborn Family Legacy...never losing the persona of the Parkers vs the Osborn rivalry. And by Webb re-inventing in a sense, Peter parents, giving more background to the parents and Oscorps relationship, add to the Legacy of the two families.

So is it confirmed that we won't be having J Jonah?

Venom has already been reinvented in the comics... and As for the movie... well... Venom's original story arc is quite brilliant and needs to be accurately portrayed on film. After that... by all means reinvent him. But his original story is not broke, so don't fix it.

Harry works better as a friend who lost his way than a mortal enemy. I wouldn't of liked to see Harry become a full fledged villain in the spidey universe. I don't think that fits very well.

i don't think webb will bring in Eddie brock JR as a childhood friend of peters because thats what harry is now in these films, so maybe harry will become venom

but an alternative is they will introduce eddie brock once peter gets a job in the Daily Bugle as peters rival, but then it will get criticized for being like Spider-man 3

venom wont happen for a while now anyway.. but it should be Eddie Brock. The tie in a Sin Eater type story with one of spidey's bigger villains, like who is the Hobgoblin? or tie it in with Brock trying to expose Norman as the Green Goblin?

or tie it into a gang war story arc... and you have something there. Bring Brock in as a *****ey rival to Peter Parker for a film before turning him into villain (or end the film with him being venom)

Hell, maybe brock is trying to expose Spider-Man's identity even.

By the way guys, you can see ASM tonight, Tuesday, and Wednesday in select AMC Theaters for only $3 per ticket. The benefits go to charity for autism.
