I'm definitely counting on new visual things. They have a new promo pic of Spidey on the cover, for starters. Not to mention the huge cover story they did on ASM two years ago with a ton of new pics. EW is reliable when it comes to exclusive pictures.

also, wasn't that "big cover story" when..... i dunno, it was just Spidey on the cover? and no one else?

The point still stands. We may not get as much new pics as we did last time, but I still believe that we will get a good amount.

i think TASM 2 has to have a super bowl tv spot featuring rhino and electro to really get people pumped up

I thought the teaser for TASM1 was great. Seeing the first person POV shot at the end is what won me over.

My only complaint is that after seeing the three trailers, you could basically put together most of the movie. Let's not forget about that 25 minutes of footage that was released through official clips.

yeah i surely hope that doesnt happen again and i enjoyed it too just hoping that we get a villian in this teaser like maybe a first person view of electro looking down at his hands and arms after the accident happens and seeing electricity flowing around him and in his viens

I think MPAA made a new law about trailers, that prohibits trailers longer than 2:00 min and with scenes from the ending of the film. The thing is that I don't know if it's already on or is it just a project.

EDIT: Wait, I found out that it's a petition from NATO (National Association of Theater Owners) to MPAA and movie studios. I hope it gets on soon, though.

Most trailers are longer than 2:00, so that may be just a petition or something. I agree with the "not showing the end" thing though.

I have to say this Krutzman and Orci ( hope I spelled it right) one of them didn't like the tweets goin but out but wanted to make sure Webb didnt give anything big away, I feel that the important things will be held top secret and keep things from giving away too much.

This. I know studios are always desparate to get butts in seats, but its really deflating to find out you've seen every money shot and great line in the trailers and tv spots.

Its Kurtzman, but yeah.


With ASM, they kinda had to show alot in order to people interested, but that's not an issue this time. So, we will likely see them be more secretive this time around when it comes to marketing.

Don't expect any GG in the trailers.

Sony knew how unwanted TASM was, and were well aware of the fact that their movie was being overshadowed by The Avengers and TDKR. Out of desperation, it seems as if they released as much footage to pull people into theaters to see their movie.

Seems like they will be more secret this time around.

I dont think GG was ever planned to be in a TASM 2 teaser but we should atleast get a glimpse of eletro but by showing rhino that would be giving things away but one would think it should be the other way around like show rhino first but not electro

Ha, I did. Amusing, yes. But what I really got out of it was that Marc, Edgar Wright and Alfonso Cuaron are doing a joint comic-con panel, which I somehow missed when the SDCC schedule came out, and that sounds awesome. Hope someone films it.
