that being said.. majority of Electro's look is CGI, so it really doesn't matter how it's filmed. In Post it can be whatever they'd like and it'd work.

Gotcha. I hate to walk the fence but I think either would look good. I'm a fan of 616 Electro and although I don't like the star mask for this series the colors could still work, at least visually they would. But imo that's too much green. Lizard, GG.

If the rumors are true about the electric eels, that would make sense for his coloring. I know you're not a fan of the common blue theme amongst film characters but it seems to fit within this universe. IMO, electro just keeps getting better and better with his 'look' and I am so looking forward to seeing him in some live action sequences.

its safe to say the blue electricity effect is the most common look for electricity in film and TV and it has been for decades

i think they can get away with yellow electricity more in comics or cartoons, but even they are starting to go blue also

I would've been happy with the blue parts of the suit being yellow. It's more classic Electro coloring, and yellow/blue is a common color combination that looks good.

Will the two of you please knock it off? spideyboy1111 is a long time poster on this forum and not just because of that but any person can come on here and express their opinion, good or bad. He isn't trolling...he's got good reasons for not liking the design and it's his personal opinion.

it's actually why the most popular color of jeans is blue... and if you poll people, most people will choose the blue item over any others.

If the costume were green and yellow then people would have complained about Electro not wearing that stupid mask he wears on the comics. If he would of had that too, then people would of complained that he was not black on the comics. If he would of been white and not black then people would of complained that the "comic" book costume on the Big Screen looks stupid and should of done a more modern version.

and i get people's reasoning on the "too much green" but, I'm hoping goblin has his trade mark purple, and I'd honestly rather see a blue color scheme like electros applied to Mystrio. That purple and blue coloring would look fantastic for mystrio's head.

This is actually pretty good but it is what it is. If YOU are not excited about the costume...simple, don't watch the movie. I know I will watch it regardless if the suit Pink for all I care.

Expect some complaining with every new pic of Electro. It happened with the Times Square set pics, it's happening with his costume reveal and it'll happen again later on. Too bad it's always the same people complaining about his costume's color.

ah but that's the thing... with a yellow/green electro you at least get far less complaints.

honestly not that many people would complain that they went with his classic color scheme as they would about not going with the blue ultimate look.

there will always be complainers, but i do think nods to a classic "more familiar" look would still garnish less complaints.
