After we got the teaser for ASM in July, we had a five month drought that lasted until December, where we got the teaser poster and the website. Then two months after that, we got the next trailer. It was almost unbearable.

Oh yeah, we can definitely expect some new posters to be released.

Right now I'm reading the classic issues (just got up to TASM issue #62) as well as Ultimate (now up to issue #39).

Nice. Is it your first time reading Ultimates? I gotta read the classic TASMs. Maybe I should purchase the masterworks series.

I'm at like issue 105 with USM. Finished the clone saga a long time ago. I haven't continued to read 'cause I'm kinda nearing the end and dreading it lol. So I'm trying to space out the time I read it. I am nearing the Stuart Immonen era so that's exciting. USM is a great book imo.

Ok guys, I have some news.
On a Marvel Movie fan site on a discussion about Comic-Con someone has claimed to have some knowledge regarding the advertising of TASM2. He knows someone works for the firm who makes the trailers (not sony) He has no idea what will be in the trailer but he did confirm that one will be shown at the event on the Friday. He didn't know if it would be released to the public next week or on the same day. I have seen this poster before and participates and is very respectful of others on the page so their is no reason not to believe him.

I read USM a long time ago when I was younger, so I didn't remember it too well. Its absolutely fantastic, and I think its a shame they decided to kill of Peter Parker for Miles Morales. Nothing against him, I actually enjoy his stories. But he's not Peter Parker, who ultimately IS Spider-Man.

We're definitely getting the Goblin....and Felicity is banging him. I really hope it's a red herring and Norman is actually the Green Goblin. I mean...he has to be. They wouldn't do that...right? Maybe they'll have you thinking Harry is the Goblin through the whole movie and then only at the end do you realize it was actually Norman. If they make Harry the actual Goblin...Imma be pissed.

Maybe they'll have you thinking Harry is the Goblin through the whole movie and then only at the end do you realize it was actually Norman. If they make Harry the actual Goblin...Imma be pissed.

No, we are not definitely getting the Green Goblin. When Felicity Jones says that she is the Goblin's girlfriend, she could really mean that she is Norman's girlfriend, or his mistress. It does not confirm Green Goblin in TASM2.

IF Harry turns out to be Goblin, I have a feeling they would go the SSM route and later reveal that it has been Norman all along. Marc is a fan of that show and does take inspiration from it.

If Harry somehow becomes the Goblin first (I can't wrap my head around how that might happen), you can count me a severaly disappointed.

What purpose would it serve? What would be Harry's motivation for going down that road? Why bother spending an entire film (TASM) building up the presence of Norman Osborn in this new Spidey universe if they're just going to subvert that and make Harry the Goblin instead? I just don't see it happening.

harry could end up being green goblin for this series run, but i do have to ask how they will conclude norman in that case

maybe 2 different goblins, glider goblin and hulk goblin in different films, father like son

Ah I see. I agree man. I fell in love with it so quick. I've read like a page or two off of the Spider-Man No More with Miles and it was great. It is Bendis so I'm sure I'd enjoy the new USM. I also am interested in his All New X-Men with Immonen.
And yes, Peter is ultimately Spidey, that's why I'm not enjoying the last couple issues of Superior so far.

i believe it was said we will see the transformation into the goblin in Rumour reports, AND if them Rumours and pictures released by websites which showed 3 containers which the goblin will apparently smash out of

Avi Arad is just a businessman who is looking to make as much money as possible. Its up to the writers/filmmakers to make something good.

I disagree. I would love if they went the SSM route, and I know many people who would feel the same.
