I don't think Mary Jane should be covered from head to toe in thick clothes like a nun. I know that many, many people think MJ should just be a plain, normal girl but I always saw her as an attractive girl. Not someone who you would see buried in a book hidden in a corner if you went to your local libary. Thats how they seem to be presenting her. I hope she isn't just a waitress.

I'm pretty sure this takes place during winter, notice how everyone else is also covered from head to toe too, not just her. Also I don't know where you got this buried in a book presentation from, all we know about her is that she works as a waitress (which is a pretty normal teenage job), and that she rides a motorcycle. Neither of these activities involves books or libraries and not wearing revealing clothing in the cold doesn't suddenly make someone a book worm.

That's the problem, she 'looks' like any normal girl you would see in any cafe or resturaunt. She's not one of those girls who you would remember or would stick out.

...I think you're forgetting this takes place in high school dude, I guarantee if you saw any model in a restaurant back when they were teens you probably wouldn't have even recognized them. People don't seem to realize that this Mary Jane is suppose to be younger then the one in the comics.

i think whats going to be the attractive part about this MJ is her attitude. plus she's cute.
I think this is a far better way to display MJ instead of the unattainable, gorgeous, High School crush that eventually falls for Peter.

This MJ is more grounded in reality meaning a real girl could be this free-spirited, outgoing, modest, and aloof.
