Well, considering the costume in the interview with Foxx had Bern confirmed to be black, and I'm fairly certain that his electricity powers will be blue considering this is a more grounded type fiction, I'm fairly certain he won't have a green and yellow suit or shoot green and yellow lightening bolts.

eh... i don't think it's the color that's the problem (other than it obviously being far too saturated)

it's the fact it's a cheesey ass special effect compared to today's standards. The Lightening should look mostly white no matter what...

im not talking about standing out as a movie character though... that's a small niche compared to standing out period.... im looking at the bigger picture.

I don't think Race is a factor of what makes someone stand out in a role to be honest... it's the story, and the over all concept of the character.

Exactly, but there aren't any minorities that are super villians in CBMs nowadays, this means Electro is a minority, making him stand out somewhat. He seems to have attributes of the character, so there you go.

I thought Evahnora's green lightning in the latest Oz movie looked pretty cool. I wouldn't mind if Electro had some cool looking colored lightning.

Or something like Force lightning in Star Wars, with a blue tinge...

i still don't see how race makes him stand out more though... the only thing it might do period.. is hype up another minorities opinions or interest. That speaks nothing about the character himself or how he is on screen

It won't make him stand out in the actual movie itself, but in comparison to other CBMs it will.

Michael Clarke Duncan surely didn't make Kingpin stand out anymore imo... neither did SLJ's fury... if anything SLJ made fury stand out.. not his race.

But it's just so "tacked on" to obviously call back to the original suit. It doesn't seem pratical, and won't really fit in this more grounded world. Spidey getting electrocuted by blue lightening is a much more interesting image, power outages going out an electro creating a blue light around him makes him appear more threantening and powerful. You won't even need to see him, blue light creeping on a wall would tell you Electro is there.

That's what actual lightening looks like, except it's typically more bluish/purplish.

other than the "green mist" i think that looks pretty fantastic. not to mention.... you will never see the lightening not in rapid motion. so even a still would never do it justice

Yep, lightening typically goes with whatever color that surrounds it. So unless Electro is constantly around green and yellow lights, why would it look green/yellow? He's most likely going to be out mainly at might, so it'll look mostly white with flecks of blue.

TASM seem to have alot of neon blue, so id imagine the lightning will be blue

works better for a night fight, which is ussually the big final battle

You're talking to a guy who's favorite color is green lol what super villian in CBMs have a costume? An actual costume. Loki doesn't, that's Asgardian atire, so it doesn't count. Red Skull wore black leather, Whiplash didn't have one. The Iron Monger wore the suit because that was his only way of getting power, and it wasn't really stand outish. Bane barely resembled his comic counterpart, the only one who did was Joker, but that sort of a given since he is, you know the Joker, he's senile and deranged. You can't really compare the MCU to this universe, different tone, different rules. Batman is dressed like a Bat because it's a symbol of fear that he created. Electro has yellow and green lightening for what? To just have it? One hand green, the other yellow? I mean come on.
