I'm not really shocked by this, I bought the rumors months ago since many who know things started whispering the same tunes. I don't have a problem with it. It's something different, brings an air of unease to the whole situation with Norman and the things that Oscorp does. Incredibly unfortunate decision by the Sony marketing team on this, though. Even saying that doesn't quite spell out how befuddling it is.

Unfortunately with their marketing even if you don't want the many, many clips you'll find out about spoilers as they spread across the net and all it takes is one person to post it without tags. That's how I find out on another site.

I concur. Though he wouldn't be so bad if he didn't post the damn spoilers in the title and thumbnail of his videos. It would also be nice if he didn't lurk these boards and report other people's findings and theories as his own.

This. I literally unfollowed that dude in the exact moment that he posted the video. I'm actually very proud of myself for not having watch it. Another thing, CBM reporting that the scene is from the post-credits is so full of TWHIP. We don't know where that scene happens in the film, but I'm glad Sony is doing the clearing. I hope the WHOLE The Amazing Spider-Man 2 marketing department is fired after this, and I'm one of the dudes that actually thought they have been doing a good job so far.

This film doesn't need more and more scenes revealed. It needs more clever marketing, like it was doing until they started literally releasing a new clip every other day.

Fire the marketing department and get some talented people to promote your film, Sony.

You have CGI, motion capture, stunt-doubles, and so on. Even if Goblin isn't Hulk sized, he'll probably transform or wear something over his face. I see no reason why Cooper's age should be a problem.

I think personally, I did have an issue with it - I WANT him to be Goblin, don't get me wrong, but I see his age as an obstacle that has to be overcome to bring a goblinesque character to the big screen, that's all. If it means hulking him out and giving him a mask, then that makes sense.

I think this is one the biggest things I would have definitely kept under wraps. It's fascinating and I'm curious where it will go... but WAY TOO MUCH TOO SOON. Can someone link me? I'm curious about a zoom in.
