I just re-watched the swinging to Oscorp scene. I know around here it's considered cheesy, but it's one of my favorite parts of the first movie. The music is so heroic in that scene too. I wonder if we will get any scenes like that in this movie.

I really don't understand the hate.

Personally, I find it incredibly inspiring. Horner did indeed do a phenomenal job at scoring the scene.

The scene where he webs up his leg was one of the parts of the score that stuck out the most to me. Along with that, the only other memorable moments were when Peter and Gwen were having their cute little conversations.

I hope they show the transition of how he's that much better at being Spider-Man. It kind of sucks they didn't show the suit change... That would have been cool to see rather than, "here's my new suit."

I think the opening sequence involving the truck chase is meant to do just that.

Agreed. I think they should've had the first fight with his ASM suit that gets all torn up and then have Gwen present him with the new suit that she made for him.

Simple and effective and much better than just skipping over the change

I think it's a Lizard story arc.

Written and drawn by McFarlene, so the art is the bigger selling point. I wouldn't call it a great read, but I liked it as a kid. Not as well written as early Spawn.

Btw, have any of you guys seen the final trailer on iTunes Trailers? I think it's 1080p and wow the CG is way improved. The models look GREAT. Way more real, way more believable.

I'm sad now... That TMNT trailer made me feel like a woman who's gone through her period..... Now I can't look forward to TASM2 or CAPTWS I have a distinct fear that all three will be ****..... Just like Ben Reily.
