@Eggyman
I gotta ask, what are your top 10 superhero movies, and what ratings would you give them? (1-10)
Something I've been meaning to ask: Apart from the carjacking scene, are there any other reports of Spidey quipping and generally being humorous?
Hmm, okay,I'll try and play along--even though I think scoring in such a way isn't always accurate and generalises somewhat. First I'll just write a list and try to organise it from there.
Avengers
First Class
The Dark Knight
Watchmen
Thor
The Incredible Hulk
Batman Begins
Spider-Man
Spider-Man 2
Batman 89
Okay, I've just tried scoring, but didn't like the way it looked. When you have a list like this, it's very hard for your scores to make sense. I did it as honestly as I could, but when looked through I honestly didn't think it was an accurate representation of my tastes.
For simplicity sake, Avengers is top, followed by First Class. I like TDK, and also Burton's 89. Thor wowed me. Never liked the character but I enjoyed it. Hate Cap. Can never decided whether I prefer Spidey 1 or 2, but more often than not I'd probably go for Spidey 1 for tone, and Spidey 2 for action. Some are hard to score together because they are so different. Am I scoring for enjoyment or for understanding how well made they are? You get me? It's a very hard subject for me because my tastes are so wide, and I wouldn't really be comfortable setting these scores in stone, and putting one film above another because when my mood changes, so does my opinion.
Edit: S*** I forgot Sin City
Is your list in order?!
Yes, the second guy that posted his reaction said that this Spider-Man is much funnier and throws a lot of jokes this time. Not only that, but when he's just Peter he has a subtle sense of humor too before he becomes more cocky
it's like, first he's a really shy guy with subtle humor, then he becomes reeally cocky (carjacker scene for example), but after he learns about responsibility and stuff he becomes more in middle of those states
Hmm... I don't quite agree, but I don't totally disagree either. My list would be:Avengers
First Class
The Dark Knight
Watchmen
Thor
The Incredible Hulk
Batman Begins
Spider-Man
Spider-Man 2
Batman 89
