'Tis indeed. But I learned my lesson from Avengers, and while I was wowed by that movie, it wasn't as much as I could have been...so I am being very careful for both ASM and TDKR.

The only clip I've watched is the Lizard finding Gwen one. I don't know how longer I will be able to resist.

Especially because every time a new clip is out, everybody seems to go nuts about it... lol

too unspecific. Unless people actually outline WHY they didnt dislike something, I don't really regard it as a review. All he sad was too much deja vu, which already makes this a bit suspicious imo since everything points otherwise.

From the sounds of it, he seems to be in the "It's too soon" camp....If it's real because he seems to like things about the film and he implies that he still feels there was no reason to reboot it so soon.

I agree with both of you, I spoilt myself silly with Avengers, I can't help feeling I would have enjoyed it more if I saw less. So I'm trying to avoid all clips from now, that one was an exception as I saw that at the untold event. (same with the world without weakness clip, though i havnt watched that one yet.)

Yeah, I decided to go on the blackout AFTER I watched all of the B-roll footage available, so the damage is pretty much done.

That review calling the movie deja vu is complete crap, because we know this origin story is very different.

I highly disagree with this. I saw the Avengers having only seen the trailers and only one clip (IM vs Thor), and I had just as much fun as my friend who saw like everything. The reverse has happened with X Men FC too.

Seeing clips doesnt spoil your enjoyment. Imo its a belief thats not true at all. In fact, I enjoyed both those movies even more on the second viewing, and it wasnt just me with that opinion. What does that tell you?

It definitely spoiled my enjoyment a little bit, seeing as I knew what was going to happen, as opposed to being surprised.

What does that tell you? Just because it's one way for you and your friends doesn't mean a different situation doesn't happen with me or others. I prefer going into a film experience not knowing anything because it allows me to cling to suspense and drama. It's what I'm doing for Prometheus and what I'm trying to do for ASM and TDKR. For you to say "it's not true" is rather biased. You are well entitled to your own opinion but it doesn't make mine any less valid.

Batman Begins was the first film out of a horrible film called Batman & Robin....to even think BB could make a whole lot of money is saying too much as Nolan wasn't very well known at the time. People saw how great BB was though and look how much money TDK made.

Your disagreeing with a feeling that I have? okaaay. I didn't say Avengers spoiled my enjoyment, I said I wonder if I would have enjoyed it more so than I already did had I not watched everything beforehand. I did fully enjoy it, but I knew most of what was going to happen when I was watching it, and wish I didn't. Also with a movie as big as Avengers, you have to see it a second time to apreciate the mass of it anyway imo.
