I dont think any of those who have given the 'reviews' till now have actually seen the movie

RIM we know will see the movie tomorrow

Just curious about this..so the screening last week and then the premiere last night, or however the time works in Japan, not a single soul from any of those viewings could have come and said what they felt about what they saw? The press screening from Friday did happen, there are writers who were there who aren't allowed to say how they feel yet and there are those who went who aren't under any type of embargo so they can say what they felt, negative or positive. I understand some skepticism but it's not as if the screening didn't happen and mad people are just making it up as a rumor. Word is going to come out from some people based on how they felt

From what I have been seeing on here if a reviewer has anything to say that isn't what certain people were hoping to hear they would just dismiss the review or comments as a false or a studio plant

That's silly though lol. I mean, geez..people have seen the movie..opinions will come out in one way or another. Will there be some people who gas the movie to high heaven? Yes. Will there some people who throw dirt on it just because it exist? Yes but that's with every movie and it won't be the last time it happens. If you don't trust the opinions of people who've seen it then don't and wait for opinions you do trust but dismissing everything as true or false based on whether you agree or not isn't a good look

What I see is this:

When there are negative opinions on twitter or whatever, some fans dismiss them as "fake rumours made by haters".

When there are positive opinions on twitter, and that latest dutch review that was up, there are those people who's been against this movie since the announcement that go "this one is fake".

I hope we get some review soon that can be proven real somehow.

Not to mention at the time hardly anyone gave a crap about BatMan

You can give thanks to Schumacher for that one.

I'm not surprised people did give Nolan a chance at BB and enjoyed it, but I'm also not surprised it didn't make a lot of cash because of what Schumacher did. It's hard to come back after a devastating blow, and Batman suffered tremendously from the green Bane, Bat nipples, etc.

You said making double the money was success

If TASM ends up making less than 500million I would call it a disaster

Do you even know what my discussion was about? I never said TAS-M would be a disaster if it made less than $500 million. Heck, I didn't even TALK about TAS-M. I only said BB didn't under perform when someone said it did.

Oh man, when the first real legit negative review is out (and believe me there WILL be a bunch) people here are going to go apes**t

Yeah all these talks of reviews kind of make me sad the actual film is like 3 weeks away, I kinda wish it came out in the June timeframe...but then again that release date is usually poison for comic book films as of late.

Anyone seen all the promo during the NBA Playoffs?

Yah....the snippets during the pre-game to compare with the Heat and Thunder were definitely impressive.

I think there's more cause of concern to think TAS-M will have negative reviews more than TDKR. People may just hate on TAS-M because it's something new. Spider-Man 3, while a lot of hate from fans, critics seems semi-pleased but just said it wasn't near as thrilling as Spider-Man 2. IF TDKR isn't a great film(and that's a big if), critics will probably still say it's good, but just not as good as TDK. With TAS-M, it has a lot more added pressure.

I just can't believe it would be compared to Spider-Man 3.

They can't. Not in public forums anyway. I know people who have attended the preview. And that's not because the movie is bad, far from it. Sony has sold the rights for the first reviews in the USA it seems. But one international review popped up today, that one from Netherlands... it's legit. I asked my friend about it, and while she disagrees about the reviewer's complains about the Lizard, that was the same movie that she saw. She can't give me spoilers and even if she could I wouldn't want to read them. I just asked her if the spoilers in the review are in the film, and they are.

The first review comes from a well estabilished movie website from Netherlands. They do have pretty high standards when it comes to reviewing films, so that made me even more excited for TASM. I think that soon the US reviews will start to pop up too, and we'll have a better idea how the movie critics will receive this, but what I've heard from my friend is that at least at her screening, everyone was pretty excited and raving the film afterwards. She was a plus one, but she also can't talk, and that's why people don't pop up here to talk about it. I don't know how RIM will pull this off, but maybe he doesn't live in the US, I don't know. But what I know is that they made all of them sign the embargo documents.

Regardless of that, I think it's fair to assume that things are shaping up amazing for Spider-Man, the review that it was posted today was very good and RIM will be able to see the film soon enough to at least double check the info that I'm giving here.

Thanks man. Helped me make point. Thanks for the info
