Though I'm still befuddled as to why they chose THAT clip, of all things. ASM is not (500) Days of Summer, it's supposed to be mostly an action movie. I'm not sure if that really endeared the mainstream public to the premise of rebooting Spider-Man.
But we didn't see any action in a continuous non-trailer-edited mode. It's hard to say what the action beats are going to be really like without seeing it in context.
99% of action movie trailers are more exciting than the real thing.
It's Marc Webb. We already know he can do cute relationship-type stuff, and the GA wouldn't care anyway. They wouldn't see ASM to see another (500) Days of Summer. They want to see Spider-Man do awesome physical things.
From what we've seen so far, I'd say they got Spidey's movements down, but what remains to be seen are the beats of the action scenes. The fact that Marc Webb has never directed an action movie (or any other movie besides the cutesy relationship one) doesn't exactly say Sony marketing knows how to allay the concerns of signing up Marc Webb. The stuff we've seen, we already know he can do, and do really well.
Anyone love the little skip Peter does?
Hey guys, as a hard and fast fan of Nolan's Bat trilogy, I can say I am excited to see how Webb's trilogy pans out. I like that he wants to take a "gritty" approach and blend it with more stylized visuals.
Guess what, the film's rated PG-13

In the 6 minute preview, there's a shot where Oscorp Tower is located where Stark Tower was in The Avengers, the place above Grand Central Station where the MetLife building should be.
Now the possibility of this series ever joining the MCU is difficult because of this.
But, Oscorp tower seems to change it's location throughout the film from what I can see from the trailers, so it doesn't seem the filmmakers were very consistent with it's location.

Is it confirmed that this will be a trilogy?
TYes.
Some guy was saying there is a clip of Peter flinging Gwen out the window before catching her with web in the trailer
There is no such thing, thank god for that
Are you sure? Because isn't Spidey standing on the MetLife building here?

Is anybody else worried that all the action takes place in night time?
I was seeing a video of the trailers comparison with the 2002 movie trailer and Raimi's movie looked fresher to me(Because the action was during the day aswell)
Yes, I've noticed this before too.
Seems like the location of Oscorp tower changes throughout the film. One location is where the Hearst Building is at in real life, another is north of the Bank of America Building, and now where the MetLife Building's suppose to be.
Anyway, if this series were to be added into the MCU, it would have to take place before The Avengers or even Iron Man, since the MetLife Building as seen in your photo hasn't been deconstructed to make way for Stark Tower yet.
I doubt that will happen anyway. And I prefer not to.
There will certainly be some day time action (school fight for example), and btw I prefer night time anyway because how can Peter go fight crime during daytime?
1. Most of crimes happen during night time.
2. He's at school during day time.
It gives me too batmanish type of fell :|
The only flinging part I saw was some guy dropping and getting webbed mid flight and Captain Stacy and some other officer looking back surprised.I think thats some bad guy and not Gwen
Can you give me the time in the clip when that happens?
Also a link to the international trailer
My bad, I thought I had seen it in the 6 minute preview this morning, but nope, there is only the one shot in broad daylight, where he's in the costume, holding Gwen, this is the scene that's shown in the international french trailer.
International trailer that is only in movie theaters, not online.
