I just love hearing me some premature celebration.

I just watched the 6 minute piece (I won't say where) and I'm premature celebrating with Marvelite. That gave me chills. No doubts for me, this movie is going to kick all kinds of a$$.

The acting is just superb. I love the chemistry between Garfield and Stone. And the action just looks stellar.

I've heard that rumor about the studio exec or execs not liking it. I've been very curious how the movie has played to test audiences. It's a real bummer if it doesn't come together well, as this film seems to have all the right parts to be fantastic. I can't see how it can go wrong, but you're right. I should guard myself against expecting too much, that almost always results in disappointment for me.

Now, Kevin Feige, a producer of many Marvel Studios movies had this to say about The Amazing Spider-Man:

The "Iron Man" chat aside, Feige also weighed in to clarify recent rumors that Sony Pictures execs are not fond of Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man" movie. "I think the term reboot has to go. I think it's like after the 'Star Wars' movies nobody likes the idea of prequels, and reboots have turned into the same thing. It means 'Oh they've run out of ideas! It's bad'," he said.

Defending the anticipated web slinger movie, which opens nationwide on July 3, Feige gushed, "I've seen 'The Amazing Spider-Man'. It's awesome. It's totally fresh and unique."
