okay, who wanted garfield BEFORE he was cast?

I didn't even know about Andrew Garfield before he was cast, nor did I bother to look him up at all. I was one of those people rooting for Logan Lerman to get the role.
After I saw The Social Network, I was sold. Watching Never Let Me Go sold me even more. And then I watched I'm Here yesterday. I'm convinced Andrew will completely nail this role.

Oh I love the casting for this movie. Especially Emma and Andrew. I was a fan of Emma before she was cast so I'm looking forward to see her in one of my fav character franchises playing one of my favourite characters!

You should check out Boy A. One of his early movies I believe but still really outstanding. Be sure to have a tissue box with you though by the end.

yeah but you should be able to have a discussion on the latest pics/videos, I agree there shouldn't really be discussion in there at the moment because there is no news but when its here we should be able to discuss it in that thread instead of taking it to another one. We already have a no discussion picture repossitory section anyway.

Yelchin would have been a pretty good pick, I think. Didn't know he was up for this.

Yeah I like Yelchin as well I think he could have given quite the performance if given the chance.

Not to mention his voice seems to be one that would match well with the Spider-Man persona especially when throwing quips. His voice is suiting you know?

I hope Yelchin gets cast as Harry in a sequel. I think he could do well in that role. But yeah, I was pulling for Yelchin until I heard about Andrew as well.

The only person I'm absolutely dying to see as Harry is Gordon Levitt and in all honesty I think it could happen. He's worked with Webb before. I know he's going to be in TDKR but hey, that limitation didn't keep Chris Evans from becoming Captain America...

That was 1.5 years ago. JGL could very easily pull off a high school looking student. He's only a year older than Andrew after all...

Really? Why not? I'm genuinely curious.

I'd like to see a post-college Peter because that's something we haven't seen on screen yet and it is a substantial part of the character. It would be cool to see Peter working at a lab or as a teacher.

I'm dying to see these characters in a new setting after this first movie, let them grow up. High school has been done to death in every movie genera. I hope by the 3rd film years will have been passed in the story.
