The PS1 game is only a fun game, as was Edge of Time and Shattered Dimensions, but I would never point it out as a great game. Maybe for that time, but down the years it only achieves fun value.

Well, I'd still say the PS1 game is awesome in terms of story and voice acting and such. It's still a great game, but if you compare it to the gameplay of S-M2, there's an obvious difference. S-M2 feels more like a true Spider-Man feeling. Like I said, I love the PS1 game, but it's not my #1 favorite Spider-Man game.

What would you say if rumors were released about Dr. Doom being in the sequel?

There's no way in hell that would be true. He'd be such a weird villain choice. Sure Doom has fought Spidey before, but he's fought almost every Marvel hero. Doom being the main villain of a Spidey movie, would make as much sense as him being the villain in an X-Men or Deadpool movie.

If he was to be the villain in any non FF movie, I'd say it would be an Iron Man or Avengers movie.

Also, there's the fact that Fox owns the rights to movie Doom currently.

The best Spider-Man games were Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 on PSOne. Spider-Man 2 The Movie Game was also very good. Spider-Man 1 The Movie Game gets an honorable nod because you can play as the Green Goblin, which I loved.

Eh, I sitll perfer's the PS1 game's story to WoS. All in all though, I think the S-M2 movie game is THE Spider-Man experience. Web-swinging was so much fun and it truly made me feel like I was SPidey. The first movie game was fantastic as well. I also think the S-M3 movie game is very underrated. Just found this picture on CBM. It's a promotional image that someone saw in an airport in Rome. To me, it looks like the first picture we got of the full suit, at a slightly different angle.

EDIT: Another image reveals that Sony has yet again made the shoes red in promotional art. I mad.

Oh, of course the PS1 game's story is better than WoS, but I just think a little thought could've been used for how Carnage was creating the symbiotes. Venom's way of creating symbiotes made some more sense in a more alien way instead of Carnage using science. That's not really the symbiotes; they don't seem to use science.

It's kinda messed up if Spider-Man 2, a video game adaptation of a film, is "the" Spider-Man experience, lol. That is my point that we need a REAL video game to be that experience with originality.

As Spiderman when he takes a hit he goes: "IIEEARRHGG !!" instead of "OOMMPHH" or "OOOUURRGGH"

But he also shouts like that when he goes in for an attack. Spiderman doesn't do that.

My thoughts exactly. He was a decent Parker, but a bad Spider-Man. He just wasn't fun & exciting like Barnes & Keaton.

Those two nailed the role of Peter Parker and Spider-Man, Keaton as a younger cockier version and Barnes as the older more experienced one. Those two actors are how I imagine Peter Parker's voice to be like.

Tobey was pretty good but for me was nowhere near as great as those guys. Garfeild might match their performance, we'll have to wait and see.
