Oh my God! This thread is so...annoying. We need info so that we can all stop picking on Aziz.

It's annoying BECAUSE of Aziz. He's really calling for the picking

Jick: Except for the Shocker chapter, the first chapter, and three boss fights, the first movie has all drones, overabundance of those
What makes this good:huh:
Aziz dude, who f***ing cares? If you love SM 3 so much, why do you need to piss people off by trying to tell them how wrong they are? Just enjoy it! I mean, pretty much everyone on the Hype is a huge fanboy of something and I'm sure we've all experienced that before, when you love something but no one else does.... You know what you do? You suck it up, and enjoy your freaking' hobby.
I keep it to myself usually, but I keep getting hit hard unintentionally, that's annoying, so I make this stand that pisses all up (even the ones who didn't say what annoys me, unfortunate)
You sure has hell don't try and tell other people it's the best by rubbishing all over THEIR favourite thing, because then you are in fact a giant flaming hypocrite and NO ONE will want to listen to you.
Why am I a hypocrite? Seriously, you know how contradicted everyone I see is criticizing stuff? They complain about them being there in one game and ignore it in another, also they praise one thing for copying another thing and upgrade it from that considered to be poor game when all it did is plain copy it

Imagine what it feels like reading all that "BAA is genre defining" and stuff "All Activision does is manniqueans" & "Those games have the same faces repeatedly"
Arkham Asylum gave a series of "walk & fight" beating up people looking exactly the same and doing the exact same few moves, with the rare changes from one chapter to another and hardly any emotions and the same lines over and over, that impressed Pat, you, and others, when another game actually does better but since it's from the so believed to be sub-par called for its flaw? You guys see what you say? I point it out at you and get flamed for that heavily, why? Effing WHY?

Edge of Time did the exact same thing and you guys felt; boooring

So if you want to be taken seriously on this thread on at all, dial it back a bit and accept everyone's right to an 'opinion'. Me, you, EVERYBODY.
So, accept what I say please :D

But they are different. There are spider-bots, hunter bots, security bots and others I don't recall. And we still interact with humans after they appear. Some of the bots aren't even meant for fighting, showing there's different functions to them, too.

That line sucks
Maybe you should play Arkham City before you say something...because I cant take what you say seriously...because you dont know if what I say is true or false...Its my opinion...respect it...like youve been practically crying for other people to do for you.

Catwoman is more fun to play as in AC than any Spidey game I've played...

Are you inspired by Stan Lee scripting a lot? All those dots between lines (normal question, not meant to be joke or offense. Don't want to apologize if it felt offensive so I clear things up)

EDIT: Make sense, that line still sucks

I notice you failed to address the content of his post... Have you actually played Arkham City?

At least when playing catwoman, the story (ahem* her ass*) kept me and my eyes glued to the screen :awesome: great job rocksteady ;)

He watched it on YouTube. That count?
Watch a few pages back what I said to Wolvieboy when he last said that and take a note. Stop mentioning that thing, SD was the only thing I did that to, and I went straightforward about it. Making fun of it was fun for a while, but it lost it's charm. SHUT UP

Yeah, take a note Pat. He told me to go **** myself. So clearly, we know who we're dealing with, we're outclassed in every way.

Even though he's on my ignore list, I feel annoyed by him somehow :S

What I hope this game provides is a satisfying combat system. Spiderman 2 really captured the feel of swinging through the city excellently but replaying it again the combat leaves very much to be desired though I liked the idea of spider reflexes. I don't want to continuously draw comparisons to the Arkham games but a variation of the freeflow combat system is pretty much perfect for spidey in the fluidity of how the player character moves. While Batman's style of fighting is more rough and heavy in comparison, Spiderman's style of fighting should be both agile and graceful. Plus The flashing sign above the head indicating the player to counter works far better for spiderman than batman.

Agreed. Combine a FreeFlow-style combat system with Spider-Sense (like in SM2), and I think you have a great combat system for Spider-Man.

Agreed, it needs to not feel like a button-masher the way every Spidey game has ever felt.

Um, no?

truth be told... everyone is sorta acting ridiculous in this thread... Aziz is coming off delusional (but he's aloud to like what he likes), while everyone else is exaggerating there hatred for spider-man 3 a bit too much. It's absolutely nothing what Aziz claims it to be.. but it's also no Web of Shadows.... it was just like a watered down version of SM2 to me.

AND THE AWARD TO THE MOST OFF-TOPIC/ANNOYING THREAD GOES TO....

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: THE GAME THREAD!!!

Congratulations guys!!! Pages upon pages of annoyingness completed! *audience starts cheering*
