I don't remember neon green being one of Seahawk's team colors.

I'm guessing you don't remember these.

The new uniforms are nowhere near as bad as these :barf:

You're right, I completely forgot about that. Well, I guess patches of neon green is better than an entire jersery made out of this fugly color.

The Seahawks uni seems like it has too much going on in the shoulder area

The Seahawks uniform is a nice change but I don't like certain aspects of it. I'm not a big fan of the haida wings, even though they are evocative of the NW Native American style. The shoulder area is way too busy and having only a couple elements there would have made it look really clean. Finally, not a big fan of gray jerseys since they don't look much different than whites to most people.

As for the Bengals, they have really helped fix the problem of the white underarm being either really prominent or non-existent depending on the cut of the jersey. Not really a big fan of all the tiger striping down the sides of the jersey and pants, but they have changed (for the better) the pants striping to something in between the old one and the ones similar to Baylor and Cal.

I have to say I was hoping for the Redskins to change their unis up at least a little. It's not that they look bad I just would like to see them change things up a little.

Rumor has it the Skins have a 3rd Jersey in the works.

What I find hilarious about these Nike jerseys is before they were released everyone was like "OMG, lets see what horrible changes they make. These are going to be disastrous!" Then they get released and for the most part they're not drastically different and people are like "They're exactly the same, I wanted Nike to do something different." Hilarious people.

Color me very shocked that they didn't paintball most of them. Wow.

The Packers don’t want your fancy-schmancy uniforms

With much hullabaloo, Nike introduced their new uniforms for the NFL's 32 teams. Along with new technology, nearly every uniform got a facelift, from the Seattle Seahawks complete overhaul to the subtle size change of the GSH on the Chicago Bears' uniforms. However, the Green Bay Packers said thanks, but no thanks to Nike's uniform updates.

The Packers changed nothing about their classic, green and gold look. They also will not use the fabric that is reportedly lighter, particularly when wet. When Nike described the Pack's uniforms, they put it quite simply:
"The Green Bay Packers have chosen to stay with their traditional design aesthetic as well as their former uniform fabrication for the coming season."
Would you expect anything less of a team who is so rooted in the NFL's history? This is the team of Curly Lambeau and Vince Lombardi and the first Super Bowls. The Packers have kept their uniform essentially the same for 50 years. Bart Starr, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers didn't need the fancy technology to win Super Bowls in the past. Why would they need it now?

The Philadelphia Eagles also kept their uniforms the same. These teams turning down every one of Nike's changes is also refreshing to anyone who was worried that Nike would take over some of the classic looks of the NFL. Though the Packers mentioned they are open to changes in the future, it still showed that the teams are in charge.

Not changing the design I get, but keeping the same old material seems kind of silly. Maybe they should go back to wearing 1960's helmets and cleats while they're at it.

Once again the Packers "holier-than-thou" attitude shining through.

Leather helmets and no face masks! :hrt:

Well this is the NFL's fault in the first place. Why should teams be able to turn something like that down? **** that. We're all getting new uniforms, deal with it.

I don't get why them and a handful of other teams didn't want the latest in uniform technology while retaining their classic look. Seems like being stuck in the past just for the sake of doing it.

If it ain't broke.......

Kudos to the Packers and any other teams that want to stick with the old style.
Wish the Vikings would wear their 60's unis all the time. Much better looking then what they are wearing now.

I think it's rather disappointing the Packers didn't even do any changes in terms of materials, it doesn't matter how classic you want to be, even the Lakers and the Celtics in the NBA has slick alternate jerseys, so with the new materials, etc yet stick with the classics. Nike is making the NFL more modern, with new materials, sleeker looks. IMO i always thought Reebok was stuck in the early 90's with what they were doing in the NFL, im pretty happy with what Nike has done, i was hopinh for a little bit more of a change for certain teams, i really like the textures on helmets, etc. And i really felt that the Redskins, seeing as the Washington Wizards and i believe their hockey team went to a red, white and blue look should have changed drastically, atleast updated the logo, color tones, etc. Overall i really like what Nike has brought to the table, definitely has a sleeker, more modern feel which im digging. Hopefully teams accept a bit more changes within the next couple of years

Speaking of uniforms...when are NFL players going to have the state-of-the-art threads like SuperPro?

That issue where Superpro held out for a bigger contract was saddening.
