Darren Rovell posted this on Twitter saying "The Hawks have filed to trademark this new logo." It matches the logo on the Christmas uniforms.

That's just plain ugly!!! The logo the Hawks used back in the 1990's was badass, it's a shame they got rid of it & their color schemes.

Yeah that was a cool logo. I'm getting nervous at the thought of "Volt" uniforms.

That there, is the only Hawks logo that exists as far as I'm concerned.

Seriously? That logo is tacky and outdated. It hasn't aged well unlike the Bulls logo for example, there are others that have stuck even with age and slightly re-touched. But yeah, that had to go. It belongs in the 90's. I wouldn't mind them going back to the color scheme though, that's been a new theme as of late. The Utah Jazz brought back their old school look and modernized it, the Rockets alternate jerseys are a nice modernized throwback to their late 80's early 90's jerseys.

I do however love the 70's Hawks jerseys. They have up well, and love the modernization done by Adidas here. So beautiful

Well, I happen to like it & the red/white color scheme they wore.

BTW, those new uniforms pictured above look like something used in the Olympics during the 70s.

Not a bad look as it's sort like an updated version their Irish Rainbow uniforms from the 1980s.

More details.

1. Blue Collar - The inside of the collar features a blue stripe, representative of the blue collar work ethic of not only the Bucks, but also of the city and state that the team proudly represents.
2. M Crest - Detailing on the outside of the collar features the modern “M” that is present in both the primary and secondary logos.
3. Cream City Rainbow - The unique color block pattern on the sides of the jerseys showcases the color palette of the new Bucks and is an homage to the popular “Irish Rainbow” detailing that adorned Bucks uniforms from 1977 through 1993.
4. Fear The Deer - A custom “Fear the Deer” player tag at the bottom of the jerseys serves as a reminder to the players each time they put on their uniforms of the aggressive attitude and team spirit they are expected to carry with them onto the court.
5. Negative Space M - Detailing on the sides of the shorts is designed to create an “M” in the negative space, another subtle carryover from our team marks and a representation of our hometown pride.

1. Championship Tab - The gold tab on the jerseys commemorates the Bucks’ 1971 World Championship season. Milwaukee is one of only 16 teams to wear the gold championship tab.
2. Milwaukee Roads - For the first time since 1977, the Bucks’ official road uniforms will proudly display “Milwaukee” across the chest, returning the city to its rightful place on the global stage.
3. Custom Font - Word marks and numerals are created from the Bucks new proprietary font that is featured throughout the new logo set.

I think they're OK. Not bad but could be better. (the marketing bits are a bit of LOL)

I liked their current set. Bucks have just had so many different looks over the years, it's hard to keep track of.

The only ones that look decent, are the teams that actually wear red or blue.

This has to be one of the worst rebrands in recent memories. Instead of getting completely new uniforms, they slap these MS Paintshop logos on their old uniforms and call them new. Ballmer has no idea on how to brand things.

Sixers unveiled their new set tonight and they're a solid update that incorporates many elements from past uniforms.

About the only changes I would have made are have only one style of side paneling and have the team name and numbers outlined. Other than those, they are very solid.

Those are pretty solid.

Wonder if Joel Embiid will ever be healthy enough to actually wear it in a game?

the only thing i dont particularly like about the 76ers unis is the white circle on the waistline of the shorts

Caps new throwback alt for this season. Basically just the red version of the white one hey wore this past season

Not a clue. I assume tomorrow during the official unveiling that there will be some sort of "brand speak" to explain that sublimated triangle pattern.

At least you've got the historic Hawks colors back. Sort of. ;)
