Those were just awful and unwarranted. Gold for them works best as an accent, not a primary, color. Plus, gold has been a hard color for Nike to not make look like mustard or dehydrated urine since the materials they use are a matte when metallics need a shimmery fabric.

Catching up here.

The NBA Christmas uniforms this year were fire. Big fan of them. Although I must admit I am disappointed more players didn't wear the Christmas socks and mint green shoes.

For next year I'd love to see the NBA incorporate some of this design into jersey's if possible

However, I wouldn't mind one bit if they continued to build upon the jerseys from this year, again, they were awesome this year.

Speaking of the Raptors, I happen to love what they're doing. Their court looks stunning, the logos they use are really nice. However, I am still not a big fan of their latest jerseys. I think you can blend elements of the old purple Vince Carter era jerseys and still use the court branding/logos and make something really bold.

They should really embrace the trend in the NBA of bringing back old jersey designs and modernizing them. Look at the Wizards, Warriors, Jazz, 76ers, Hornets.

i loved the purple raptors. wasn't too big on it when they went black and red

Raptors went with a downright disappointing design when there were more than few options that would let them look modern and classic at the same time.

Denver Broncos choose white Super Bowl jerseys

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14651325/uni-watch-denver-broncos-wear-white-jerseys-super-bowl-50
In a major surprise, the Denver Broncos have decided to wear white jerseys in Super Bowl 50.

The Broncos had the privilege of choosing their jersey color by virtue of being the designated home team, a status that rotates every year. The AFC champion is the home team for even-numbered Super Bowls; the NFC champ gets that designation for odd-numbered Super Bowls.

A few facts, figures and observations about the Broncos' choice:

The Broncos may have chosen to wear white out of superstition. They are 0-4 when wearing orange jerseys in a Super Bowl, having lost Super Bowls XII, XXI, XXIV and XLVIII. They're 1-1 in white and 1-0 in blue.

Bonus superstition: Teams wearing white jerseys have won 10 of the past 11 Super Bowls.

Double-bonus superstition: Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is 1-2 in Super Bowls. His victory in Super Bowl XLI came while wearing a white jersey.

superstitious ninnies! :oldrazz:

i wish the panthers would wear their all blues for this

also anyone else see that the 3 point line now lights up on the ABC Saturday Night NBA games?

really?

i didn't know that. i could've sworn in years past that the broncos have worn blue, orange and white

Broncos wore blue in '97 vs the Packers when it was their primary home jersey. (the first year of their redesign). White was the primary away which they wore in '98 vs the Falcons.

In 2012, the orange jersey became their primary home again and they wore it for Super Bowl 48 in 2014.
