Not sure if this poster was serious, but...
Have you guys considered that BW is romancing Banner exclusively as a way to possibly exploit a weakness in an otherwise unstoppable, uncontrollable rage monster?
I LOVED that in CA:TWS, halfway through the film Natasha asks Steve what "he wants her to be." He tells her, "a friend", which is exactly what she then acts like through the rest of the film. I get the sense that she does this both out of respect for Cap, but more importantly because she sees Steve as the best bet for her own quest to get revenge for Fury's death.
I see Widow working the same way for Banner/Hulk - she may appreciate what Banner/Hulk brings to the team, but more importantly, by "dating" him she keeps a greater level of control and involvement in an unpredictable and even possibly dangerous threat to the team.
Looking at it this way, Natasha's decision to get "close" with Banner becomes a position of strategic strength for her, and also is in keeping with her character as we've seen up to this point. Cold? Yes. Duplicitous? A bit. Black Widow? Absolutely.
(Plus, delicious conflict when Banner learns that this was why she was so willing to get close to him!)
I have no problem with the relationship if this is how it works out.
I remember in the beginning of the movie we were shooting the end of the movie, as movies go, and there was this moment where its more of a chatty bit for Hawkeye and we realized, Well were running out of time and were doing all this action stuff, lets just finish all the action and maybe we can do the talky bit back on stage or something. Because he was just a little afraid, he was like, This is the first time we really kind of see him in his personality or what his sense of humor might be, or who he really is.
Uh what?
The first time we see what his personality is isn't till the end of the film![]()
I read that the same. Renner also states 'he was just a little afraid' - maybe it relates to Hawkeye being scared in that scene and we learn more about him when he's under pressure?![]()
Why do I keep seeing the same Ultron drones on all those posters?![]()
Whedon doesn't understand the character. He's gonna get nerfed goddamit!!!!But seriously, looks like Cap is getting a power upgrade in this film.
Cap's true strength is in his strategic mindset, basically. The other guys on the team are smart, but they're not soldiers.
Well, I take it back in a sense that Thor is kind of a military guy technically but he's more about the rousing good time warrior kind of battle play.
Having just heard his interview, he does admittedly say that Cap gets thrown around a lot, but that's because Ultron and the drones are so tough and they are above Cap. Which makes sense, would be lame if the drones were fodder for the likes of Cap.
