I really doubt if anyone is gonna die in the first movie except Vision.

Could Vision die early in Infinity War? I always assumed it would be towards the end.

Has there been talk about Cap and Co. being on the run taking up any amount of story and plot time in IW? Just curious.

I think there's a chance he dies (in terms of losing the stone, doesn't necessarily mean he can't come back in some form) near the end of the first film for impact.

I think the Vision will get a lot of character development. When he dies near the end we will like him a lot more as he will be more humanized. I think his death will be temporary. His body will be brain dead but the Avengers will preserve it in the hopes of getting the Mind Gem back.

If the MCU goes on long enough I'm sure he'll be back.

Wanda kidnapped.
Hawkeye and Vision killed.

That's my tip.

I would like to see that to be honest. Renner as Hawkeye does nothing for me. He just takes up screen time that could have been filled with more interesting characters.

Seriously, it's been a drought as far as plot information and set pictures leaking.

What are the chances of getting an appearance by Coulson? I stopped watching AOS, so I'm not sure of his exact "whereabouts" within the MCU, but I do know that none of the Avengers know he's alive still. Kinda frustrating. Especially after Coulson told Sif not to tell Thor, because he wanted to tell him himself. That was before Age of Ultron.

Even though AOS and The Defenders are suppose to be on the same universe don't expect ever for a crossover with the actual Avengers characters.

Approximately zero. Imagine the time you'd have to waste explaining that SHIELD is back in business after Winter Soldier, much less that a guy who died in the Avengers came back to life ages ago but never thought to mention it.

Don't forget that they don't shoot these movies chronologically. It's entirely possible that the scenes from the leaked pictures are from the end of Avengers 3 or even from the 4th film.

AOS has already crossover-ed with the movies.

AOS has already crossover-ed with the movies.

It's been a one way street and even then, it was never with the Avengers themselves; just supporting players like Sif and Maria Hill. The most high profile character they got was Nick Fury in two episodes, and, correct me if I'm wrong, he hasn't shown up since Season 1, correct?

In addition to what some of the others have said, the other thing to remember is the time differential between production on a movie and production for a tv show. The production time for the movies is a much longer time frame, they're getting written well before the season of the tv show that might 'overlap' with the events of the movie even get written (which makes it much more difficult for the films to incorporate items from the tv show since that content hasn't even been written yet). TV shows work on a much shorter production schedule (i.e. they're often still writing and filming episodes for later in the season even after the season has already started)

For Coulson, you mention not knowing his exact 'whereabouts' within the MCU. Well, we don't know yet where he's going to be either when it comes time for the events of A:Infinity War and A4 to take place. Right now, the current season of Agents of SHIELD is taking place roughly 'present time'... events of Doctor Strange, in universe, happened just a few months ago or so. So (if Infinity War follows the trend of most (though not all) of the recent movies and takes place 'roughly when it comes out') we're still a year away from the events of Infinity War.

(hope that made sense... apologies if it didn't... my mind is heavily preoccupied with some other stuff today, so trying to explain things might go a little wonky)

I appreciate the response! That all makes sense. I'm still hoping for a small cameo from him, just something to let the team know he's alive and well and still helping SHIELD. That's all I want.

Wanda kidnapped.
Hawkeye and Vision killed.

That's my tip.

The Edinburgh scenes likely take place in the first act of the movie. Vision has abandoned the Accords and may have quit the Avengers.

It is Wanda and Vision who reunite the Avengers.

Feige and others have pretty much confirmed Wanda has Chaos Magic. That explains the spooky stuff at the beginning of AoU.
There are at it seems at least three types of magic in the MCU;
Order, Chaos, and Dark (Dimension).

So, let's say that after Vision "dies", Wanda summons Chthon to Earth and is possessed by Chthon, who then uses Wanda to beat Strange to within an inch of his life, Strange only surviving because of Wanda's remaining humanity.

That being the case, the "useless" Hawkeye will be the only person who can do anything about that.

Either that or Strange "fakes" Wanda's "death" as he did in the comics, in this case so Thanos thinks he has already won.

Vision will survive within the mindstone, having attained mastery of it.

Also, General Ross and the UN will seek to destroy Vision as a terrorist threat after the Edinburgh incident.

Guys, Cthon is probably not gonna be in this movie. I have no idea why this theory keeps popping up.

If anyone finds out where any of the filming might take place in Edinburgh this Friday to Sunday please post it here as I'm not sure where to hunt them down at the moment lol.

No idea about the Fri-Sun period, but they are already shooting some days with Olsen on something called "Royal Mile".
