meh, the ultimates sounds like something you’ll name a video game.

They could always do something around the idea of "Avengers: Ultimates," or something like that.

Ofc there is no way for me to book anything on 26th rignt now, and since I don't want to be a part of the big event on 25th, I guess I'll have to wait until the 25th to book my tickets.
Yeah, it sucks...

Can someone, please, write down the embargo dates so I can update my no-internet-dates?

Social media embargo is after the premiere ends Monday night. Review embargo is the following morning.

After all these years, I still maintain that you're Batman. Somehow.
Ha, I'm just a healthy, single, care-free billionaire who enjoys spelunking every now and then. What a silly accusation.

Personally I still think it will be called 'Avengers: Rise of the Four'.

The deal is not gonna be finalized until next year at the earliest. We are not getting the Fantastic Four in these movies, save perhaps as a post-credits tease.

Thanks man.

So, its normal for films to be released Tuesday/Wednesday for you? It's rare that a move would be released Wed. It's always Friday here. And over the past 7-8 years they release Thursday nights.
Some of the blockbusters. I don't really check the ones that I'm not planning to watch early. This one is technically Thursday really anyway (Wednesday midnight).

"Phase 4 of the MCU and Avengers 4 Will Be Drastically Different Than Phase 3 and Infinity War", says Russos.

While speaking with Yahoo Movies UK, the Russo brothers teased that the next phase will be drastically different as it introduces a new slate of characters and films.

Anthony Russo told Yahoo that the differences between Phase 3 and Phase 4 will be "pretty drastic," with Joe Russo adding, "I think massively different. I think that this is if Marvel has been writing a book for ten years, it’s the end of the book and someone is going to write a new book. Who knows what that new book will be but this is an ending and that’ll be a new beginning." Our possible first taste of that next phase remains untitled for spoiler reasons, but Joe Russo said that it's "going to be quite a long while" before people learn the title of AVENGERS 4, squishing hopes that the reveal would come at the conclusion of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR. "We need people to see this movie, digest this movie," Joe added, "and then we can tell them what the next story is they’re going to see."

Despite being announced as AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - PART TWO, the title of AVENGERS 4 was changed once Joe and Anthony Russo realized how different the two films were going to be. "It’s serialised storytelling without question so there is going to be a correlation, narratively, but we really wanted to make two distinct movies," Anthony said. "We weren’t interested in making one long film and getting out the scissors and cutting the scissors and cutting it in half." Joe added, "We don’t find that a satisfying cinematic experience so this is a complete story, that’s a complete story, and they’re very different movies."

As for the title of Avengers 4, the reveal can't be "quite a long while" away. Avengers 4 comes out in 12 months and if they market it the way they marketed Infinity War we will get a teaser for Avengers 4 this November.

I am betting the reveal will come at Comic Con

Drastically different? What does that mean for the sequels of Dr. Strange, Black Panther, and Ant-Man and the Wasp? All of these must receive their 2nd or 3rd sequel.

I have no idea what they're talking about with Avengers 4. It's hard to get just Part 2 of the Thanos story out of my head after all this time of thinking that's what it would be.

Personally I still think it will be called 'Avengers: Rise of the Four'.

Avengers 4 will obviously be called 4vengers and feature 4 new Avengers who go on to form their own team (within the film). All the other Avengers will retire as soon as they see how fantastic their new teammates are. Thanos will no longer be a threat when he sees them. He will ask to join but they will say 'well we can't be the F5 can we'.

I dont know why exactly but I feel insulted by their explanation.

Maybe Im just scared that Thanos and the Black Order wont be Avengers 4.

Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet "story" shouldnt last just one movie.

The Russos keep talking about a "narrative correlation" between the 2 movies instead of calling it a "continuation".

I know they are doing their best to be vague as hell but its scary stuff.

I don't think we have to worry about Thanos. Though I can totally see the Black Order not surviving IW.

Nice! I plan to go every day for the subsequent days heh. School term would have ended so I will be free.

Excellent. I'm actually away straight after it opens for about 5 days which is bad timing! But I should be able to see it once while I'm away and have 2 more tickets booked for when I get back. That would be 6 altogether so far. :woot:

I hope you survive the onslaught of spoilers.

I think some of yall are just setting yourselves up for disappointment.
The Black Order has been put on way way too high a pedestal. They may be akin to gods in the comics but I really doubt that is the case in this film. Thanos is the big bad in this film. This Black Order are his henchmen. Probably the equivalent of Nebula in GOTG.

As for the Gauntlet, I wouldnt be surprised if Thanos and the Gauntlet are mostly dealt with in Infinity War. With Avengers 4 being the fallout of Thanos's actions and the transition to whatever comes after. Rather than a continuation of the war with Thanos.

I don't see Avengers 4 having a new villain suddenly. I see Thanos still being the villain.

My comment isnt the black order's power levels. Its about them being part of the story.

If your guess is true, and the war with Thanos lasted only one movie, i will be very disapointed even if we get two great movies.

Obviously. Why is this still an argument? The only reason they split this into two parts is because Part 1 is the effort and failure. Part 2 is the retaliation and resolve. Another factor to take into account is there are likely events that are happening in-between these films, during IW, before IW and maybe even during A4 that they want to show us so we'll get how the heroes can triumph. I'm looking at YOU Captain Marvel.
