Doesn't look like a chariot to me. Looks like a spacecraft. Also, that front design, upside down or not, looks like a Scarab bug's teeth.

Look at how blonde his hair is this time. It's weird because it doesn't match up with what I've seen shot of Evans so far .... btw, what's with all these shots of Steve having no helmet?

he didn't "crawl out of " anything... the ship is clearly barely larger than he is.. he couldn't fit "into" it at all..

I'd pretty much guaranteed is more of a "goblin glider" type "Chariot" that AICN clearly described. Using the term "Chariot" rather than "glider", "ship", or what not... is pretty specific.

How can you be so sure that he didn't crawl out of it? None of us saw what happened before he was lying on the ship, so that's just speculation. If it's upside down, we don't know how the top of it looks at all. It could be very possible for him to fit inside of it for all you know. You can't be certain and neither can I, nor can you make any guarantees. :whatever:

I'm with you spideyboy, i think we're looking at more of the back of the vehicle.

Steintym, back of the vehicle or not, it could easily be a ship. And also, that design does look like a Scarab bug.

How could someone crawl out of it? It's barely bigger than the actor next to it. I don't think someone could actually fit into it.

Oh it definitely does look like a Scarab. In fact, that's the closest resemblance I've seen. I'm still just skeptical that's what it actually is.

You don't think so, but are you certain? Mark Ruffalo is doing mo-cap for the Hulk, he'll be a suit just like that guy's. We're pretty sure they're going to increase his size with CG, right? It's possible they could change this guy's size to make him appear smaller, it's even possible that the top half of the ship(if it has a top half) will have enough space to support him. We don't know yet.

Here's the picture marvel_freshman originally posted with the actor. Given that scale, I don't see how someone could physically fit inside that object.

The "vehicle" could be a million different things, though.

I'm willing to bet pretty much everything... that this is what it is..

take out the horses, and wheels, and redesign it in a "futuristic high-tech way"

take into account the almost too obvious feet placing marks

and you get this... (rough computer sketch)

simple physics... it's smaller than a car... and much flatter than one. even if there's a cockpit on the underside, it's an EXTREMELY tight squeeze., not to mention it's not a very aero-dynamic design.

Yep, and I'm not going to fight your opinion but I'll stick by mine as well. Guess we'll only be certain in 2012, right? :cwink:

Let's not forget Loki's involvement. Figuring out that part of the puzzle could tell us whether this is the Kree, Kang, whatever.

Loki has (or will get) the Cosmic Cube. Assuming he uses it, why would he bring in someone like the Deviants or Kang? I have to assume the desire for the Cube isn't the reason they're here, otherwise they'd just take it from him and the Avengers wouldn't have to be involved.

One reason I can see him contacting the Kree is that he's trying to stir the pot between them and the Skrulls (there's your Skrulls mention, as has been rumored). If he tries to convince the Kree that Earth has enough resources to turn the tide of the war, they might invade.

Awesome video with Cap taking a beating.:wow: The pics are cool too. The blonde waitress rumored to be Scarlett Johanson, (unless it is just me) she looks to be just a regular actress playing a waitress. There seems to be a lot of photos being shot of what I believe to be civilians trying to escape the destruction. Not sure what to make of the photo of the Scarab / Chariot vehicle. I can really see it being either way. I'm so confused right now  , but enjoying every minute of it. :woot:

loki starting the kree/skrull war (or bringing it to earth) makes far more sense... and would be a distraction for him to do whatever his end game is. bringing Kang/Thanos/Deviants/Celestials in .. who could potentially be far more powerful than him, just really doesn't make sense.

All I've got to say is ... This (the speculating) is extremely fun and driving me absolutely crazy. :woot:

Maybe D23 will give us some answers

What if he uses the Kree to help him get the Cube from SHIELD, then takes it while they're fighting?

Loki's the God of Evil, he's also a master manipulator. I don't think it would be easy to just take the Cube from him. He would put up some sort of a fight, either using a weapon, his magic, or his mind. However, you do make a great point. Whoever the villains are, I'm VERY excited.

If The Avengers is still this vague after D23, I'm going to be sorely disappointed.
