What's the clip, if you preorder the avengers album off iTunes, consist of?
From what I gathered... you don't get an exclusive clip only if you preorder. There's simply the Thor vs. Iron Man clip that they have available to watch on iTunes (this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ku-xK9eJQyM&feature=player_embedded) where they're also advertising that you can preorder the soundtrack. Also, that for a limited time (and featured on the soundtrack) Soundgarden's song "Live to Rise" is free.

And in my universe I have Thor above Hulk overall, but with their max strength being on a par with each other
You do realize Hulk is the strongest there is right? His max should at least be a little above Thor or else he'll just be "one of the two strongest there are."

Looks like we now have the IM vs Thor clip up officially on youtube (via MarvelUK channel) in beautiful HD:

but Thor is not strongest one there is either

so even if you put Hulk as slightly stronger than Thor, what about all the other powerful characters throughout the Marvel universe

If you go right to the top of the hierarchy all these characters are way more powerful than Hulk or Thor, so Hulk has to have some limit, question is where is the limit?

Hulk strongest one there is "on Earth" is definitely reasonable

Thor is not of Earth and neither are many other strong characters throughout universe

Question: Jeremy, talk about preparing for this role.

Jeremy Renner: I did take some archery but realised very quickly that I couldn't really use it in the film. It ended up being superhero archery. It's nice to know the technique behind it but then, you know I'm shooting behind my back and over my shoulder and using fake arrows. But I gave it a go and shot a few bales of hay and missed a few, but the physical part was just stretching so I don't get injured.

Someone should send this part to the guy who knocked Hawkeye's style.

I liked how during the Marvel livestream of the red carpet premiere Renner mentioned something along the lines of "Yeah, professional archers might go 'this guy is a hack'..." (paraphrasing) - I was like, "I wonder if he read that dude's article bagging on his 'technique'?"

He probably did. Probably a slight nod to that. But Hawkeye is a master archer and should be able to make a shot from anywhere.

I always thought Vartha was a dudette.

Well he is almost as strong as him, PLUS he has the ability to fly, control lighting, create tornadoes etc.
True, that's why I'm always saying a fight with him and Hulk can go either way or stalemate. It's a 50/50 to me. But the point being made here is that Thor is above (not equal to) Hulk in Marvel's heirarchy and I don't think that's the case.

Well it is mainly from what i observe listening to other comic book fans debating on various forums

I am not an avid comic book reader myself, I have only read a few online, but I have read quite a bit about characters and biographies etc

Most comic book fans say Thor is above Hulk in hierarchy

I have my own personal universe where every character is powered down eg Superman can travel faster than a speeding bullet, but not light, Hulk is very strong, but cannot lift mountains

And in my universe I have Thor above Hulk overall, but with their max strength being on a par with each other

Hulk is said to have limitless strength, but that is vague and ends up with Hulk in theory being able to lift a planet, I don't like any characters to be overpowered beyond realm of sanity, just powerful enough to still be believable

I would have put a limit of Hulk's strength and chose Thor, as he is one of his famous opponents, to be the limit. So basically Hulk gets stronger and stronger with rage and pain etc until he is as strong as Thor, but that is his limit
Lol dude you just need to read more comics (I mean that in a good way) or at least the scenes where Hulk and Thor are fighting each other rather than going on hearsay. I like your universe too :woot: but it doesn't really change where Marvel place these characters in their heirarchy.

The thing with me is that I like the comic book characters, but I don't like the comic book stories themselves lol

I am not a fan of inconsistencies and retconning and something called PIS I learned about (plot induced stupidity)

So I prefer to just read about the characters and make up my own stories in my head :woot:

Fair enough :yay:

Yeah, if there's one thing comics are great at over decades of different writers tackling them it's this "PIS" you talk of. :woot:

Like I said earlier though I agree strongly with your point of having depowered versions of guys like Thor & Hulk here. Also I hate when any hero on film starts doing stuff with planets or mountains..lifting them, spinning them on their axis etc. :whatever: Any big bad also needs to be in reach of the max combined powers of the heroes (can add on earth's military and SHIELD to that) or you are relying on luck and plot devices which lessen the impact of the story. It always has to be just within their max capabilities where any small event can be the difference between success and complete failure.

This.

Has anybody seen Poni_boy since last week?

I heard him recently say that the movie was amazing. Maybe that was last week though

So even though the aliens are [BLACKOUT]the chitauri[/BLACKOUT], do they count as like a branch of [BLACKOUT]the skrulls[/BLACKOUT]? I'm sure even though they aren't impactful per se in this movie, they have to be a small part of something bigger right?

WHAT RACE IS THANOS? I KNOW HE HAS A CHIN LIKE THE SKRULLS BUT HES PURPLE NOT GREEN

-DOOM :doom:
