I don't see the problem. It just further explores the idea that Asgardian "magic" is another form of science. Did you complain when Red Skull harnessed the power of the cosmic cube?
It helps mesh the fantasy world of Thor with the more sci-fi world of Iron Man together.
If you don't like super sciency stuff like that in the comics, you shouldn't be reading superhero comics.
No I didn't, because the cosmic cube always seemed more "scientific" to me anyways.
It's not even the fact that they found a way to harness it's power, it's the fact that they did in the span of two years. If humans are that smart then why in the heck are we so behind the times, in that case the government should've been able to replicate IM's armor quite easily.
