They sent Renner to Beijing alone?! Sent to a foreign country to promote a massive ensemble movie all by yourself. That's no fun.

I think he just went to the big LA and UK premieres. SLJ and Evans were only at the LA premiere
Ah I see. Well I guess the movie has received pretty much all the exposure it can get.

I think Evans did some type of promotion for the movie down in Rio de Janeiro also.

Sounds like they're going to start sending a single actor to multiple countries before I'm assuming a good portion of the cast meets up again for the Tribeca Film Festival. Then we'll start seeing actors on all the late night and morning talk shows in the time leading up to May 4th.

German humor seems very flat and rude.

There's no such thing as German humor. That's a myth, like British cuisine. You'll never see a funny German comedian or a good British cook. They just don't exist. And Stefan Raab proves that on a daily basis.

Yeah, loved that. As for the rest... yeah, language barrier or just different brand of cultural humor or something. I think the guys have done enough press overseas (Hiddleston & Hemsworth with Thor, Ruffalo surely has does done over seas press junkets and what not before) that they're able to roll with it pretty well despite the awkwardness - doesn't stop me being uncomfortable and embarrassed for them though *lol*

I just hope they're able to sleep at some point *lol*... Russia to London to Rome to Germany all within the space of, what? A week and a half? Hope none of them end up burning out or anything (pardon my fangirl concern - it pops up now and again :oldrazz:)
I agree, that interview was all kinds of awkward. A language barrier is one thing, but interupting somebody when they're right in the middle of speaking? I HATE that in interviewers. These guys are meant to be proffesional, so they should be respectful and courtious to them, and let them finish a goddamn sentence. I can let it go doing it once or twice for time constraint purposes, but this guy did it pretty much every time one of them spoke.

Okay sorry those things just really get on my nerves.

I can't be it's less than 48 hours till I see this The Avengers.
:wow:

Yeah... it's like people tune in to hear the celebs talk, not the host be rude.

Tom messing around with the little stage control thing at the end (and Hemsworth pressing all the buttons) and them - just in general - having a blast and goofing off at the end I think makes up for some of my annoyance at the stupid host (who didn't prepare...from what I've been seeing from German fans on tumblr, other message boards etc... they're not happy with how that interview went either and think the host is an idiot too. I mean, all the guy would've had to do is at least watch a trailer or two to know who plays who).

also... lucky you that you're down to hours :woot: (me jealous? Not at all :oldrazz:). I'm at the 10 day mark myself *sigh*

I'm actually curious to see what the crowd is like when I get to the midnight screening in about an hour.

Germans are too, down the line, organised to get the funny as a culture. As for we brits, we don't care there is a chinese take away down the road. :woot:

Well, there are some very few comedians in Germany. Genuinely funny ones, too. Stefan Raab, though, is not one of them.

That was my favourite part of the interview! I love how Mark set it all off though (and falling off the chair at the end with Hemsworth helping him up!) :hehe:

well you know what they say...the more hungry you get the better the pie tastes!! :awesome:

Just saw a new spot (at least for me). Had a dub step track to it and Iron Man flying backwards as he shot his repulsor rays and at the end Tony saying "What's wrong with the guy letting off a little bit of steam?" and then a shot of Hulk on a jet tearing it up.

I didnt see that but on WWE raw saw a new TV spot where Fury is narrating and saying that something like when in war that you give everything you have that you Avenge something. There was a new shot of Iron Mans armor forming around him, a close up of the Leviathan and more footage of the Hulk smashing. great spot
