So far, (since early April) i've been pretty successful in not spoiling much of TA for myself...BUT i'm really wondering who the heck [BLACKOUT]"the other" is. Alex Denisof's character.[/BLACKOUT] To those who have seen the movie, is his character of any real importance or is it more of a setup for future flicks?

ummm I could be mistaken, but I did not see him at all in the movie, and I have no idea who they're referring to as [BLACKOUT]The Other[/BLACKOUT]. If I had to guess maybe they're referring to [BLACKOUT]the guy Loki talks to about getting his army.[/BLACKOUT]

ok. He's listed in the imdb credits with that particular character name. But I understand that imdb is unreliable at best. They had cheadle listed for the longest time afterall. Just thought i'd ask. Thanks.

I have no idea who they're referring to at all. That's strange. Multiple places online are reporting him as playing this character, but I haven't the foggiest idea as to who they're referring to. Maybe it has to do with that extra scene RDJ was talking about them filming.

I was thinking this could be a possibility, but it seems strange to cast him in an apparent important future roll and have nobody realize its him playing the character. It seems a little fishy.

I haven't seen the latest spots, but this is the point at which I would stop watching ads and clips if I had not already seen the movie. Believe me, there are some things you would be better off seeing in the theater rather than on a TV screen.
