Haha, had no idea that show was still relevant, but my mom watches it. That's pretty cool.

Holy Christ I hate children.
I'VE NEEVER HATED A KID AS MUCH AS I HATE THAT BOY IN THE RED SHIRT THAT SAID AVENGERS LOOKS LIKE IT'LL BE BAD. AND HE FELT LIKE SUPERHERO MOVIES SHOULD JUST FOCUS ON ONE CHARACTER

ONLY ONE OF THOSE KIDS SEEMED LIKE A REAL KNOWLEDGEABLE FAN LOL

-DOOM :doom:

All I know about General Hospital is that one of the leads, Steve Burton, voices Cloud Strife in FFVII: Advent Children and the other newer FFVII properties. Every time I see his face on a TV Guide I'm like "Cloud's still on TV!"

Not sure if this has been posted, but it's pretty funny:

LOVE THAT THEY INCLUDING THE THOR-BUSTER ARMOR IN THE FIGHT WITH THOR

-DOOM :doom:

I love how the put Fin Fang Foom at the end.

That was inspired! It was the funniest parody/tribute I've seen yet. I loved their substitutions for Agent Coulson and Hill, and Fin Fang Foom was the perfect topper.

Thanks to Yads for the find. :yay:

I don't know why everybody loves him so much.

he's unassuming, cool, calm, collected, professional and yet still can only do so much. in the consultant he games the system for the greater good, showing awareness and problem solving.

I'm a fan of "General Hospital", but what do you all feel about The Avengers being on GH? Seems like three characters go to a movie theater to see film...

I saw a promo for that on Marvel's Avengers site. It makes sense since Disney own ABC as well as Marvel, great cross-promotional opportunity. Since the target audience of soap operas is women 18-49, positioning an Avengers reference within the storyline of General Hospital will help heighten awareness of the movie within that demographic.

I occasionally watch GH on SoapNet. The audience has sadly declined over the years but there are still several million daily viewers. The show has gotten interesting recently with the addition characters from One Life To Live, plus ABC renewed it last week. And Spinelli is the popular uber-geek, so using him to introduce The Avengers into the plot makes perfect sense.

That's the worst ****ing idea ever. The guy's not even that great of a character. I don't know why everybody loves him so much.
You must really love everything else that's ever been done if "not that great of a character" becomes "the worst ****ing idea ever".

We love the Son of Coul because he's the coolest character in the MCU.

there's been much worse ideas involving testicles and sharp objects. also i think one person bet they could cut their own head off and proved everybody wrong.

I didn't say having the character was the worst idea ever. Putting him in 616 is.

Coulson is the face/name of the MCU. As much as I don't understand why, he's become one of the most popular aspects of movie continuity. Putting him in 616 takes that specialness away from him. He's being ****ed out to the sell more comic books. Even a character I'm not that fond of doesn't deserve that.

Exactly, I can see why someone might not think he's amazing but how can introducing an unassuming character like Coulson be a massive negative to the MU?

why not coulson rather than some nameless or lesser known shield agent. irrespective he's already been branched out to animation before.
