I think RDJ and Ruffalo were messing with us.

There would also be the added pain of editing it together with the existing footage. The film releases in the UK in less than 13 days. Let's say it's going to be shown on...500 screens. That means they would have to film it, edit the shots and sounds, score it, then attach it to the existing footage, print it, and then ship it across from California to England. All within 13 days, and two of those are Sundays when shipping companies don't run. And, that's not even allowing any time for the theater to get the cans, open them up, piece the film together, and test it. For the domestic release you would get 20 days but, that's still pushing it.

since its being shot digitally it should take them no time to edit the footage depending on what they are shooting, they already have music from the movie so they can add that to the cut during the editing process, print them out and then probably ship them...studios use special shipping companies for movies(who don't believe in sunday)...it can be done

Man I just spent a few hours reading every single post for 26 pages to catch up on brosef's spoilers! Love this site and love these spoilers!

I just couldn't bring myself to do it. We need a bullet point presentation.

The theater I used to work at, Regal Cinemas, used DHL. Even still, very, very tight time frame. I'd agree more with cherokeesam. If they are doing this, it would be more likely that it's for the Blu-Ray. Joss has taken the time he needed to get everything right for this film. I doubt he would rush this just to take it on at the last second.

I thought the same thing when I first saw that Hulk still. Troll face, literally.

I would be very happy if they are adding a brand new after credits scene to the theatrical release.

That way all you sons of b****es going to advanced screenings will have to wait as long as me to see it.

Any well known actress playing an older Peggy would be stupid IMO.

I agree,I'd also prefer an unknown or the actress who played her in the first movie But under prosthetics!!

Yeah because putting Hayley Atwell through hours of aging prosthetics/make-up with cgi enhancements for what amounts to a cameo is a much better idea. :o

Well yeah, but it doesn't even have to be that. If it's only gonna be a cameo, why make it a well known actress? If I see Judi Dench play Peggy for 10 seconds I'll see her as Judi Dench. If it's an actress I don't know, I see it as an old version of Peggy.

If its done digitally, they've also been known to send it electronically, which can bypass that shipping issue.

RDJ is a prankster, but Ruffalo seems to be overly honest with his answers to questions. And there was that report of Banner and Stark leaving in Starks car at the end of the film to consider.

And really, SFX films do this stuff all the time. TIH wrapped a week or so before it debuted because of SFX. The Transformers series regularly were up against deadlines for SFX. Considering any new post credit sequences would likely not have SFX, it'd be simple to do.

Also worth mentioning.. Whedon's Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, a 42 minute short, took six days to film. Considering any post credit sequence would be 2 minutes roughly, it's not that difficult to pull off. Especially given how Whedon rewrites and RDJ improvs.

Old Peggy would likely have a few scenes in CA 2 and even IF it's a cameo..I doubt it'll be only 10 seconds!!

IF it's a known older actress I'd be wife with it But personally I'd just prefer Atwell in prosthetics!

I didn't say she was gonna be on for 10secs. If Old Peggy is gonna be in a movie, it's probably gonna be emotional and she's probably gonna have dialogue with Steve. I'd rather get a well known actress for that.

That'd be kinda silly. It's kinda like: Oh look, Peggy grew old to look like Betty White or Judi Dench. It'd be better using prosthetics (which these days aren't too much of a hassle) or an unknown actress. And I think most people will agree.

Peggy resembles Judi Dench imo, I could see it. I also wouldn't be against using a mixture of prosthetics and cgi on Atwell.

It's no more silly than slapping hours of prosthetics on a young actress. It's kinda like: Oh look, Peggy grew old and became a serial killer wearing the faces of her victims...holy ****, Steve, kill it with fire!
